The Hobbit Hole XXXII - Sweet is the sound of falling rain
The Freeper Hobbit Hole Blog ^ | December 1, 2006

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Okay. I didn't get any seeds planted, but I did fix a lamp.

So there!

I need some new lamps; and/or new lamp shades. I've been looking at several lamp sites, and there are absolutely 1000's of lamps. Still can't find any OB and I agree on :-) LSA

Heh. Don't you hate when that happens?

I still haven't planted any seeds but I did thin out the lettuce I planted several weeks ago. and the stuff I planted last week is starting to sprout.

Need to get lunch started. Too bad there's still a few inches of snow in the back yard or I'd fire up the grill.

Heh, oohh look, we now have one third of the front yard snow & ice free. Okay, don't ask about the north side. :-)

No - she's still at church :~)

He's really easy going. Was a little hard to get ahold of, very timid, but once we did, he's been easy. No reaction at all with the dogs or the cats.

When he dries out and fluffs up, will he be a Golden? Is there some sort of dog magnet buried underneath your place?

A middle age to golden years Golden, I think. :~)

Dog magnet... I've always been a magnet for the lost souls, it's such a hard world to be lost in, I can't not.
