Ick!
The real question is this:
Is there enough time for Pelosi to completely alienate the american people before the next presidential election?
I think yes.
"Long live our happy socialist Motherland..."
Let me guess.
The "press" is playing softball with her.
No hard questions, no hostility, no antagonism.
Just a peachy-ducky little lovefest.
.
One move that could buy the President good will with the Hill and the public would be the departure of Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, and many people close to Bush hope that happens sooner rather than later. "He has screwed the President," said a loyal member of the Bush team who rarely speaks so bluntly."

"I think about, how can the Republicans POSSIBLY lose in '08?"................Probably the same way they lost in 06?
Three words, nominate John McCain.
Hell no! I've suffered enough!
Actually, the first question was 'specifically what will you do in Iraq'. Specifically, she didn't answer.
NO WAY...
Drudge has the teaser up now also:
WHITE HOUSE: PRESIDENT BUSH WILL MAKE 'SIGNIFICANT ANNOUNCEMENT' AT 1 PM ET...
No, that election was about Republicans, who controlled all branches. We can now make '08 about Nancy, Harry and Hillary. Big difference.
Nancy just said " Democrats are not about getting even" -
where's the puke bucket - I'm just gonna hibernate for the rest of the day
I was too busy watching the remains of my poop swirl down the toilet.
What is she talking about, freeing those poor innocent men at Club Gitmo? Raising minimum wage so people hire even more illegals? Asking for Saddam to be freed? Ugh, let me out of here, I`m geting sick just thinking about this wack job is going to talk about.
Odd that there was no focus on her before election day.
A lot of discussion of Macaca, emails, instant messages, and Rush Limbaugh.
News of Britney's divorce was the number two story on the news right after the DemocRat victory. Lull the nation asleep.
No more blaming Bush for Iraq, when is the majority party pulling us out of iraq?
Thanks again Diana, wherever you are.
No thanks, I would rather make out with Helen Thomas... =)
I'm waiting for her to take credit for the economy and making the sun rise this morning.
If its something that could have been helpful for Republicans if announced two days ago, I will be angry. The Dems would NEVER pass up a chance at a November surprise.
What else could it be? Rumsfeld resigning? I doubt this would come so soon after election.
Unless he is going to announce some proposed legislation, as a way of putting the Dems to the test right away.
LOL
