It may not be her jobe to help the defense, but it is her job to seek truth and justice. If she knows of misconduct in the Durham DA's office (and we all know she does), she should come forward and help get the charges dropped. That is the least she could do, under the circumstances.

I understand your position, TD, but it would be asking a lot of her to go public at this point. She could lose her Bar card over it. Her testimony in an investigation pursuant to a disbarment might be helpful, but I doubt that she's got any info that in and of itself would tip the scales toward dropping the indictment.

Tho she might be able to talk to the Judge off the record...

...she should come forward and help get the charges dropped. That is the least she could do, under the circumstances.

The harrassment complaint has nothing to do with the lax case. The harrassment complaint is strictly an administrative matter. Yes, it's interesting in the sense that it shows Liefong's hypocrisy and his preference for MILF's family who are behind him because he will most likely promote MILF as soon as he can, and both aspects of the complaint should be something raised against Liefong in terms of the election, but it's a non-starter as far as the case is concerned.
