It's Friday and time for one of my favorite TV cartoons, Bugs Bunny's "Little Red Riding Rabbit." Sing along with Red as she skips towards Grandma's housefrom the cartoon:
The five o'clock whistle's on the blink/the whistle don't blow so whattaya think/my papa still works in the factory/ cuz he doesn't know what TIME...it happens to BE...
Nothing sweeps away the blues better than a good cartoon. Whether it is the manic humor of Tex Avery, the societal humor of South Park and The Simpsons, or the computer generated quirkiness of Jimmy Neutron, life seems to get better after ten minutes watching TV cartoons.
What are your favorites cartoons? What cartoons do you despise? And when will the Wile E. Coyote (super genius) ever catch the Road Runner? Don't be shy Post your photos and theme songs you recall from your childhood memories.
Have a great Friday and a great weekend!

IIRC, there was fascinating philosophical dialectics in the plots of the various Josie and The Pussycat series. Yeah, that's why I was watching it as a child...the dialectics.

Prof. Hasan Bolkhari, a cultural advisor to the Iranian Education Ministry, claimed during a televised seminar that "Tom and Jerry" was created by the Jewish Walt Disney company to irradicate the association between mice and Jews created in the minds of Europeans by Hitler.

Yes, he did sound like Maxwell Smart because Don Adams was the voice of Tennessee Tuxedo. I loved his sidekick Chumley.

It is a shame; As a kid, I used to love those old Merry Melodies cartoons. In today's politically correct enviroment, I think that they have banned that "Wascally Wabbit" and all his friends. It is a real shame.
