Friday Night Sci-Fi Listing:
8/7 - Dr Who The Girl in the Fireplace: Madame de Pompadour is being haunted by a stranger called the Doctor. But is she really in 18th-century Versailles
or on board a ship in the 51st century?
Last weeks episode was good....
9/8 - Battlestar Galactica Exodus, Part 2:The crew of the Galactica and the insurgents on New Caprica coordinate their attacks in a daring attempt to liberate the stranded humans from their Cylon oppressors. But as the Cylons begin to lose control of the situation, they start to consider a drastic and brutal final solution to the crisis.
Last weeks episode was good. I think this is where the Pegasus goes down..
Why not? Killing one of the big characters ups the drama ante for the rest of the season because EVERYBODY becomes expendable. Also Eddie has a multifaceted career and has already impacted Galactica production schedule so he could do other stuff (no public grousing or complaining from Ron and company, just aknowledgement that they had to write around his being unavailable), so it could be that everybody had a sit down and decided to part ways (that's why Billy got killed off, Paul Campbell was getting lots of offers and all parties mutually agreed they were holding his career back keeping him on Galatica).
That's kind of the strength of Olmos, I'd be really sad if they killed Bill Adama off because Olmos is really why I decided to watch the show in the first place (pre-release press didn't impress me, but I think Olmos is a brilliant actor and have watched many things just because he's in it and he's always worth watching, of course with BSG I got hooked on the whole show in half an ep).
Baltar is a possibility, there were some indications during the preview that Baltar could get killed/ be a cylon. That would also be major. One way or the other sure to be interesting.
RDM did say that a major character would be written off the show in the third episode of season three. You think its Jamie Bamber?
I don't think so.. I'm thinking it is D....
Oh come on, if I can still watch after Crashdown, you'll survive after Lee.
But if it is Lee, what about Starbuck?
Well that person is on the same ship.
That is true, and I don't think they will kill of Apollo..
oh hell yes I love this episode.
OMG!
HOLY $%#%$#^$%#@^@%#$%^$#@%$#@%$#@$#
Did you all know that hotdog is Olmos' son in real life.
I assumed he was related, either a son or a nephew, with the Olmos name and all. Is this the kid that he had with Howard Keel's daughter?
I don't know.
Man, Admr Adama has balls, bigtime.
If there was a book titled "Things Not To Do With a Battlestar", I'm pretty sure that would be in Chapter 1.
This has been an insane episode, and we still have 1/3 left.
Pegasus was a lot to give up just because of Baltar's stupidity.
That was the trade off for the nuke?
What about your buddy Baltar?
