Friday Night Sci-Fi Listing:
8/7 - Dr Who The Girl in the Fireplace: Madame de Pompadour is being haunted by a stranger called the Doctor. But is she really in 18th-century Versailles
or on board a ship in the 51st century?
Last weeks episode was good....
9/8 - Battlestar Galactica Exodus, Part 2:The crew of the Galactica and the insurgents on New Caprica coordinate their attacks in a daring attempt to liberate the stranded humans from their Cylon oppressors. But as the Cylons begin to lose control of the situation, they start to consider a drastic and brutal final solution to the crisis.
Last weeks episode was good. I think this is where the Pegasus goes down..

I was a little taken aback as the humans seem to be portrayed as the insurgence as in Iraq and the Cylons as the Americans in Iraq.
anybody else have the same take?

Madame de Pompadour to Doctor: "There comes a time where every boy must learn how to dance."
Tonight's episode is touted as the one where the Doctor gets "laid". An enchanting fairy tale that will delight female viewers. I would recommend this episode as an ideal one to introduce your female friends to Doctor Who. It is a chick flick. I give "Girl In The Fireplace" a grade of B.

A lot of the reviews I've read also echo this line of thought. However, it's a flawed one. If they're comparing the resistance to the Iraq terrorist killers, they're buying the enemedia's BS.
Our troops are not taking part in kidnapping, torture and eyeball removal.

VCR is on the fritz. The kids have abused it too many times.
To: RandallFlagg
my concern was that the writers and directors were trying to make an anti American point in this show and was not concerned what the reviewers thought.

I think Lee is going to bite it. Well, if he does then that's it for me. He's one of my favorite characters.

This week's ep of "Who" is arguably the best-written one of the year, though it is a bit on the sappy side.

I one of the commentary tracks of season 2.5 Ron said season three didn't have Adama, Olmos was on the screen at the time. So my theory is he dies.

I don't think they'd kill such a major character off at this point. My money is on either Gaeta (his image as a collaborator with nobody realizing he's secretly helping the humans, could get him killed and then they find out later he was helping) or Tigh's Wife.
I did read a BSG fan site that said tonight's battle would be the biggest we've seen in the entire series. That alone is worth getting out the popcorn for.
