I agree. I thought the same thing too. Preppy Duke students raping a stripper? Anything is possible but the whole thing seemed off somehow. Now knowing what I do, it's impossible to believe. These three guys raped someone from an escort service - without condoms? No way. That's a huge stumbling block right away before you even consider the lack of physical evidence, lack of injuries to the accuser and the idea that two of them weren't even there at the right time.

I proved, with your very own postss, that you were dead wrong 100%. You had previously stated that if you were wrong, you would admit it. You did not do so, nor did you apologize to either one of us. Nevertheless, I let it slide and didn't hold it against you. Numerous times I have complimented you on your posts. But every once in awhile you go off the deep end again, and you have done it again. I don't know if you have an alcohol problem or an anger management problem or what, but you simply get on a tangent and cannot see the forest for the trees.
Yeah, I got booted from CTV. So have lots of people who have stood up for what is right in this case. I'm certainly not the only person here who has been booted from the CTV Duke board. The people running that site are a bunch of leftwing Nazis. For you to try to use that to poison some other poster against me is ludicrous, desperate, dishonorable and downright tacky.
Howlin invited me here before I was booted. She sent me a PM. If I had been booted already, I COULD NOT HAVE ACCESSED MY PMs. We both knew I was going to get booted, and I couldn't have cared less. What I said that got me booted was that the black community in Durham have some responsibility in furthering what has happned to these boys, and supported it with quotations and news stories. Now, unless you think the black community of Durham has no responsibility in what has happened, you're using my truthful position as a means of trying to smear me because a board run by a bunch of anti-white racist Nazis banned me for speaking the truth about the race angle to the case. Yeah, I noticed. And over the months of this case, we have seen story after story after story indicating corruption and a DO-NOTHING stance about real crime in Durham posted here.

That simply is not true.

I don't think you have an axe to grind with regard to this case, and I don't doubt you that your town's LE has some major policy issues that should be investigated. But one town, not even a hundred towns, means the entire country's LE staff or system is corrupt or incompetent.

On that we agree, Mr. Nifong had a miserable agenda and he appears to be a despicable human being. He should have some personal convictions, and he should have said, "I'm so sorry for your situation, but there is no evidence to support your claim," and let it drop, but he didn't. I call it cowardice. He didn't have the courage to stand up for what is right (I know, he feels he's standing up for the underdog), but he is making a mockery of our system.
Not even bothering to have the police interview the "suspects" isn't a mistake, it's a crime. He has circumvented the Constitution he was sworn to uphold and defend. He's a louse. I repeat, his desk is where the buck should stop.
By the way, it's just a question I've had on my mind, but is it the new police procedure to just file the warrant for the arrest without even bothering to question the suspects? Does anybody know, have a LE background, have a J.D.? I can't even envision that as being logical, but I realize my mind doesn't work the way others do.

Sometimes I get people mixed up. You're the one I've replied kindly and politely to over and over again because of what happened to your family, but who keeps hammering away about how the entire country's LE officers and system is just a cesspool of corruption.
