My thinking on it could change, but based on the little bit of foreshadowing they've given us, she's the one I see most likely used. It may not be in the exact manner I laid out, as they have shown an ability to spring unexpected surprises. However, ever since JR was shot, leading the audience to think a major player may have been killed is almost SOP. Instead of wondering along the lines of who shot JR, I tend to think more along the lines of how they're going to bring a dead character back to life.

Ultimately using Starbuck for breeding purposes would be a major twist in the storyline. Another twist would be if Starbuck decided she wanted to keep any baby she might have.

Ultimately using Starbuck for breeding purposes would be a major twist in the storyline. Since the Cylons have her ovaries, it is possible for her to have already been used that way. However, the conception of Hera seems to have made love a necessary ingredient to bring forth the "new generation of god's children". Kara's Cylon jailer on New Caprica worked hard to get her to love him, manipulating her with the child he had. The Cylon's original plan may have been disrupted by the failure of their clinical breeding program, with the birth of Hera showing them the way. If Hera died, would she awaken in a re-birthing tub?
Another twist would be if Starbuck decided she wanted to keep any baby she might have.
If the child's mother hadn't claimed her, you bet Kara would have done anything & everything to keep "her" child.

I was wondering about the child. Was the child fully human, or was it a crossbreed like Hera? About whether or not Hera would've died and been re-born would have been interesting to see. Will we see "her" child in any future broadcasts?
To: desherwood7
The child wasn't Kara's. She was the fully human daughter of someone else & her mother claimed her as soon as she saw her on the Galactica. I suppose they could bring that storyline back, where the mother claiming the child was one of the five & the girl really was Kara's daughter, but I don't look to see that happen.
From the preview of next weeks episode, looked like they're gonna go into the mystery surrounding Kara & her vision a bit.

I hate to say this, but I'm rooting for the Cylons to wipe out the humans.
Why would I say this?
These humans are apparently the largest collection of Homer's in the galaxy. They get by through shear unadulterated luck.
Settle a new planet seem like a good idea?
Then why are they still living huddled together in tents after a year? They are supposedly an advanced society and they can't manage to build so much as an outhouse?
Not enough fuel to make a jump?
Well gee, let's call a strike. Not to mention that that in a fleet of thirty thousand, the president (mayor) should have a pretty good handle on what is going on. Roslyn doesn't leave Colonial One unless she wants to flirt with Admiral Adama.

I seen it on the previews. It sounds interesting. Do you think that Kara will become an oracle?
To: desherwood7
Do you think that Kara will become an oracle? I don't know. She's shown herself to be religious, so it wouldn't be too much out of character for her. Could be it's just gonna be something similar to what happened with President Roslyn. Her character is found to be fulfilling some kind of prophecy & she gets visions to confirm them.

That would make this season more interesting if Kara takes the same turn as President Roslin has.
