in town shooting the screen adaptation of Michael Chabon's novel "The Mysteries of Pittsburgh,"
Interesting that the article doesn't mention what the novel is about--"gay youth coming of age in Pittsburgh." Sounds like a must-miss film.

Try living here. The population is still bleeding out of town. Taxes are through the roof. Ass backwards politicians.
The smell comment is 100% dead on. Seeing that the South Side, while nice, is a public urination zone after 2AM on the weekends, I find the smell comment hilarious.
Someday I have to believe this area will turn the corner. It is too damn beautiful around here and the people in this city are fantastic. We simply need a change in leadership that's only going to come after everyone leaves.

As a Pennsylvanian, I apologize
for Pittsburgh.
Just kidding, never been there, it can't smell worse than some towns east of the Delaware River.

I think I speak for many of my fellow native Pittsburghers when I say, 'no apology is necessary, Sienna. We couldn't care less what you say or do'. I thought the Brits had more class than this.
