An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.
Stand by for details and updates as they come in.

There's no reason to single out Txsleuth. Plenty of other people have made other humorous comments. Use the abuse button if you find something offensive.

According to the report I just read, the authorities "briefed" the father that an arrest was expected out of the country. So it couldn't be him Give it some time .. I'm sure there will 12 different reports from the media before the day is over

I am glad Patsy knew before she died. I never, ever for one second believed either parent (or brother or step brother) was involved.
Patsy is with her now so I am not too worried about that part.
I am sorry she is not around, because that woman is owed an infinite amount of apologies.

I know that. All the plastic surgery she's had, makes her look like she's gunning to be a Fox reporterette.

The thing that always brings me back to the Ramseys' guilt is the note. I can't get past feeling that Patsy wrote it.

By itself it doesn't, but it helps shift the focus away from the kid.

No, it's actually a great time for a random Monty Python post:
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Who goes there?
King Arthur: It is I, Arthur, son of Uther Pendragon, from the castle of Camelot. King of the Britons, defeater of the Saxons, Sovereign of all England!
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Pull the other one!
King Arthur: I am, and this is my trusty servant Patsy. We have ridden the length and breadth of the land in search of knights who will join me in my court at Camelot. I must speak with your lord and master.
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: What? Ridden on a horse?
King Arthur: Yes!
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: You're using coconuts!
King Arthur: What?
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: You've got two empty halves of coconut and you're bangin' 'em together.
King Arthur: So? We have ridden since the snows of winter covered this land, through the kingdom of Mercia, through...
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Where'd you get the coconuts?
King Arthur: We found them.
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Found them? In Mercia? The coconut's tropical!
King Arthur: What do you mean?
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Well, this is a temperate zone
King Arthur: The swallow may fly south with the sun or the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land?
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?
King Arthur: Not at all. They could be carried.
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: What? A swallow carrying a coconut?
King Arthur: It could grip it by the husk!
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.
King Arthur: Well, it doesn't matter. Will you go and tell your master that Arthur from the Court of Camelot is here?
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Listen. In order to maintain air-speed velocity, a swallow needs to beat its wings forty-three times every second, right?
King Arthur: Please!
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Thailand???

I find it telling about your personality that even though a grand jury wouldn't indict them, you somehow "know" they had something to do with it. And somehow you are so in their heads that you know a "girl like that" wouldn't sleep in her clothes. Perhaps you should go on some game shows?
