Arrest in JonBenet Ramsey Case Expected "Shortly"
8.16.06 | Michael King

Posted on 08/16/2006 1:17:08 PM PDT by mhking

An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...

According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.

Stand by for details and updates as they come in.

I can't believe this was almost 10 years ago.

There is no statute of limitations for homicide.

I'm wondering what the Statute of Limitations is on this case, and if this partial confession keeps the killer safe?

There isn't one with murder...I am just praying that all the evidence is intact in Boulder.

The Boulder police ought to be charged with murder. Mrs. Ramsey just died of cancer - probably from the stress of years of false accusation.

I doubt they'll even get an apology.

And they shouldn't. Unless someone can show that the police were either A) completely negligent in ignoring obvious evidence that someone else was guilty, or B) maliciously and intentionally targeting them for harrassment, leave the LEOs alone.

The majority of LEOs do the best they can with the information they have at the time.

""MSNBC is reporting arrest soon of father of JonBennet Ramsey"
"

Not any more. Check the headline again. As I said, Lucianne's a tool.

Nope. She's not even on this Earth :( My curiosity is now peaked. Her parents always struck me a little weird. Feel sorry for her mom though.

Not to mention that the "ransome note" was left right on the landing of the stairs that led to their bedroom. That would be one brave intruder; he takes the little girl from her room, carries her down to the basement and kills her, then takes half an hour to write the ransome note that demands exactly the amount of Mr. Ramsey's bonus, walks upstairs and plants the note on the landing...he must be able to walk on air, as well.

This is the story with 3 posts at the DUmmies site:

Just heard on the radio that someone had been arrested in the murder of Jon Benet Ramsey. Don't know who.

Put the war on hold. From now on, it's going to be Jon Benet 24/7 on all the cable news channels.

Do you suppose this is a Cheney/Rove distraction?

ROFLMAO!!!

Nancy Grace is getting her hair teased as we type.

Hounded by a paid male employee in her dressing room who calls her Tweety Bird just to get her blood boiling.

Why do so many people think someone in the family did it?

I'll make a wager that the family is not involved at all.
