Moslems generally don't wear headgear in the United States except for a beanie at prayers at the mosque.
They are not the only middle-eastern looking people who wear the beanies.

That is chilling.
I just read a detailed description of this terrorist event from the Seattle Times at:
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2003160605_shooting29m1.html
This guy shot the receptionist!!! What a big man he is.
(1) I thought these shooters are supposed to shoot and kill themselves last and (2) I hate that the bad people are getting to control where and when we do things. CNN's online story ends with,
"Robert Jacobs, Pacific Northwest Regional director for the Anti-Defamation League, told CNN the group has been warning Jewish institutions to be wary and have adequate security because of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
If they cannot, he said, it would be better for Jews "not to congregate in one location that might be an obvious site.""

Love it. According to a Fox new reader, one of the responses of the local police is to guard local mosques against potential hate crimes.

India has more Moslems than just about any country on Earth, so being Moslem doesn't exclude anyone from being an Indian.
On the other hand, the issue was the headgear. Sikhs, who are not Moslems, wear turbans. Some tribes in Afghanistan wear turbans. Some tribal groups among the Hmong in Southeast Asia wear turbans.
Modern Moslems tend to NOT wear turbans.
A turban, in and of itself, does not serve to differentiate a Moslem from anyone else.
It's the attitude.

They should string him up by the nutolas NOW. And what about the violent, jew-hating religion that taught this Islamofacist that this type of behavior was heroic? I think we need some lawyers to go after the Mosques for damages and bankrupt them.
I remember years ago when a black man was killed by a white-supremacist, and the lawyers went after the head white-supremacist for encouraging the killing. The lawyers won in court and took his home. The same applies here. Islam is teaching the hate. Therefore the religon and all the mosques are financially responsible for all the death and destruction.
Turn the lawyers loose to bankrupt Islam using the civil justice system.

I've been thinking along those lines too ~ maybe we could emulate Morris Dees (Southern Poverty Law Center) who is the guy who took over all the assets of the members of a hate group.
Maybe the Moslem flocks are ready for a court ordained fleecing.
Then we could get enough money to sue Morris and the ACLU and put them out of business.

You're over-reacting. This might be a hop, skip and a jump from being in your backyard but I live in Belltown: it happened in my backyard.Remember that this shooting is not as bad as the Raver who murdered a bunch of people at a party up on Capital Hill a few months ago. But because of the politics involved, people are going to over-react.
The shooter in this situation was a psycho who was going to go off eventually. I'm not going to worry until this behavior becomes a concerted trend.

My feelings exactly. My initial thought was that if somebody in the building had been carrying, this episode could have been nipped in the bud. My second thought was "Why why wasn't anybody carrying" - after all, WA has a
shall-issue ccw permit system. My third thought was, of course nobody in the building was packing - I'd bet that all of the women who was shot voted for John Kerry, and that probably all of them would eagerly sign onto the Brady Bunch's program. They were sitting ducks; they didn't have a chance.

You're right of course. Everyone had better start to REMEMBER. Effective now.

Love the photo montage. Those Ohio Presbyterians really are naughty chaps. Oh! sorry! Methodists? Nope. Quakers? Oh darn it, it'll come.
Anyway how about this for an article?
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2003160727_haq29.html
You saw the exact same reasoning away after countless other Infidel murdering rampages. Essentially, we are told
a) he was a kind sweet guy.
b) everyone's shocked, SHOCKED.
c) he kept himself to himself.
d) everyone's shocked, SHOCKED, ad nauseam.
Now, this Haq is obviously bananas, but what on earth explains this behaviour?
"Haq made a point of announcing his Muslim faith before opening fire"
The reporter is obviously lost as to the relevance of this and so simply moves on.
The penny remains UNdropped, the dot's remain UNjoined, etc.

Interesting article ~ direct connection between killing Kahane and the WTC. Somehow it's been lurking in the back of my mind.
Has anyone noticed that the radical Islamic movements prey on mentally ill Moslems? That's where they get their bombers, plane drivers, and shooters.
This is very consistent with the general view among Moslems that the mentally ill (or retarded) are paying a price for sins commited in a past life.
(NOTE: No, Islam doesn't believe in traditional Eastern style reincarnation, but gazillions of Moslems whose ancestors did still hold to that belief and act accordingly.)
