is this guy CAMPY or what?
I would say "yes", but then that would have to be evidenced by at least a shred of tongue-in-cheekiness, of which there is none.
No, I fear it's worse. I believe he actually thinks it's cool. This terrifies me.

Now that I've actually listened to it, it's a pretty good song. Nice guitar work - I wonder who played? That slide solo sounds a bit like Waddy Wachtel.

Of course he's cool!
Haven't you ever seen "Baywatch?" He can run down the beach in slow motion. Not everyone can do that.

The guitar work needs to find new lyrics and vocalizations.
The back-and-forth conversation-style lyrics are pretty dreadful.

Did you ever see "Hooked on a Feeling?"
That one was much worse than this one, believe me.

Now, "Hooked on a Feeling" looked like it had been made by two kids on LSD, sitting on the floor with some celluloid and a pair of scissors.

I didn't want to get into this, mostly because I'm such a lousy typist, however...
This is worse. BECAUSE -- while, yes, it's dachsund free, he makes up for the lack of a female in HOAF with overkill, three women in this one, which makes less sense than the flying angel-girls. Also, while he displayed his uber-narcissism in the last one by being "hooked", basically, on himself, there is so much over-the-top Hoff-promotion in this one, I want to die.
Also, while he seems to initially ditch the bluescreen for a little reality in this one, that only lasts so long. AARRGGHH!!
Perhaps there's no "spear-chucking" in this one, but the "evil Hoff" and the "kung-fu Hoff" are far too much for me to bear.
And then, of course, he ends up where he wants to be, singing to himself, after ejecting the chick. This isn't even remotely funny. He's so f-ing egocentric he finds this "you're too much of a hassle, beyotch"-sadism to be marketable and charming.
I wish I was a psychiatrist. Just for this video's sake.

Exactly! How insulated from reality must his life be?!
Oh, and "fear" was the right word. I can't imagine being so disconnected from The Real World. 100% hyperbole-free scary.
