It's sad -- wild animals are hard to care for.
Get it!?! ;')
Now it looks as though they're about halfway there!
Vet ping. Yeah the can recover from shock but it is not a sure thing.
They went half a state in the time it took me to catch up on the thread.

G'nad and I spent 3 hours putting up a hotwire fence around the garden...deer have been eating the heck out of the beans and lettuce...not anymore. We put up four strands...it better work. G'nad was testing it and it didn't seem to be working. We took about 30 minutes to go over all the connections and then he knelt down and tested it again. Heh...all this time it had been working but he had on his good combat boots with rubber sole. :-) I'm just glad I didn't volunteer to touch it since it "wasn't working".

Decalfinated.
Mmmm... can't wait to have squash. I brought in the last of the turnips today. No luck on the japanese beetles drowning. They were out buzzing around as soon as the sun came out.
Yaaay. Bonus points for me!
There was a zo' prof at my university that would give people extra credit if they brought in dead squirrels. He did population distribution studies. All sorts of fun things like that go on in the bio dept.
Alas, it has been that kind of day.
Sorry to hear that. Do you get the long weekend off, at least?
