I took a couple pics of the in-law's cat this morning. He was sooooo cute and purty taking a nap in the sun. Then he opened his eyes and gave me the death glare. If I were a smaller mammal, I would fear for my life.
Let sleeping kitties lie.
Excellent. Got the programs done. I'll call in a couple hours.
Please tell me you didn't have to shave your head ;-)
Well I don't 'have to' I guess...
Just got back from a second HD run. Eating dinner now.
I just washed my tennis shoes from the maze yesterday in Clorox. ~wheeze~ ~cough~
And the chair is fixed! I superglued it this morning... taped it while it sat around and set up, and although I haven't ~reefed~ on it, it appears to be very functionally strong :~D
So that's good, I don't want you to worry about it :~)
Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin Dead
It was bound to happen eventually, but it still makes me sad.
You beat me to it, and did a better job.
*sigh*
Like I said, it was pretty much bound to happen, but...man.
Yeah - it doesn't matter if we all knew it was bound to happen, it's still sad to lose a guy that had that much moxie in life :~)
Exactly.
And the fact that he's been said to be dead about five times before makes it all a little weird...and more potent, I guess.
He'll be missed, for sure. Not exactly anyone else like him.
They've announced him dead before? I must have missed all those.
Not on the big news sites...just rumor stuff.
I just saw that about Steve Irwin being killed. I guess it was just a matter of time, since he was around wild animals all the time.
Gidget ~loved~ Crocodile Hunter ~snif~
Come on, even I know who Steve Irwin is.
He's really dead huh? Shame... bound to happen but...
Wow, that was a surprise, he was an original, did a lot of good work for conservation and was entertaining while he did it. He'll be missed by many around the world.
OT: 59 degrees this AM, not our usual Labor Day weather. We're off for the archery range with gypsygirl. Beautiful day for a walk in woods with a wooden bow. Hope to get some pictures, only time and cooperative canine companion will tell. Need to practice with camera anyway.
Good morning! We look forward to the pictures!
Morning!
Had the windows open last night. This morning I was rummaging around for my warm slippers.
Got a second cuppa brewing and am watching decorating shows...got to get inspired to put the bathroom back together. Wonder how hard it'll be to mount that cabinet again.
Then maybe I'll clean out the squirrels's tomato plants.
I imagine Animal Planet will put together a big tribute to him in the coming weeks.
I feel so bad for his wife and kids...by all accounts, they were extremely close. This is going to devastate them. It's hard enough to lose someone without it being such a big public thing.
And, I suppose, in a way it will be harder when the media moves on and all of a sudden it's as though no one cares.
