Among the factoids I collected today, one of them was that Iran is at +3.5 hours from GMT.
Yeesh. Not +3 or +4, but they gotta have that half-hour so that "on the hour" is now out of sync with most of the rest of the world. Figures. Fits.
Why stop at a mere 30 minutes? Why not go all out and make it more like 17 minutes, 22.5 seconds? I mean... if yer gonna be differn't...

Finally got Luke off the computer then we had to run some errands. Turns out the Nana episode was (yet again) a bit of a false alarm.
Don't get me wrong. She was definitely in pain. But it turns out it's either arthritis or gout. Doctor at the E.R. gave her a couple of shots (demoral and something else) and a stronger prescription. She slept most of the afternoon and is up and doing much better.
So, there's that.

Demerol and Phenergan, ya think? Many times they're given together. The phenergan prevents the stomach upset that can sometimes come with Demerol and also actually accentuates the action of the Demerol as well.
Well, false alarms are troublesome, but less so than the real kind.
