You need to stop with the threats for not showing up on time....
Heavy fog here. The 9:32 out was cancelled. My new ETA is 3:41.
I just talked to dad, and will be heading up there in about 30 minutes - His suggestion is to put Josie in the shop, she likes it in there and can get away from the dogs.
My cat alarm goes off at 5:30, weekday or not.
Yeah...I think you're right.
Off to do my walk now.
You're kidding, right?
Grrrr....
Tricksey, I love it!! She's so pretty; I love her coloring!!
Sounds like a plan. Is he heading there in 30 or are you?
I feel guilty about displacing poor Josiegirl, but she'll appreciate it later.
We decided on Tricksey once we laid eyes on her again, but it was Ramius' idea on the spelling.
A stroke of brilliance, that!
He is so smart. S-M-R-T!
*smile* He sure is.
We're pretty much finished packing for the beach.
Becky's bag - check.
Alyson's bag - check.
My bag - check.
Tricksey's bag - check.
Ramius - in progress.
It's awfully soupy out. Oh well....no grass mowing today! :)
Now that that hot spell is over (knock on wod) my squash are starting to grow again. I had little baby squash about 2 inches long that just sat that way for a few weeks. Hopefully they'll be ready to pick by the middle of the week.
Think I'll try to grow lettuce in thesunroom this fall/winter. The collards and turnips that I planted last week are already up!
Nope. Still waiting in Cedar Rapids. I fly out at 11:15. A group of Japanese students just showed up to wait for this flight. It is interesting how much I can make out even though I don't speak much.
How did the run go?
Oh my goodness, I agree wholeheartedly with Corin!! That is one gorgeous poocharooski!!
I find it amazing that you AND Rosie were able to find such fine specimens at a pound!!
I'd like a poodle, you know...hmmm...
We're off to Spring Creek here in a bit...Steve's mowing the front yard so I am sneak freepin'.
Oh...I got my hair cut. SHORT!!! Shortshortshort!! It was falling out again (remember how it did a while back?) and it was just making a hugh mess...I'm talking great wads of hair EVERYWHERE. Well, there's two-thirds less of it to make a mess now!
Heh....I got mine cut short a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty bad when you're outshedding the cat.
I just washed all the exterior windows. I need to start the grand windows scrape-caulk-paint project sometime soon...when it's not so hot on the weekends.
Heh...I was just thinking "I hope it cools off enough for us to straighten up the back yard 'fore OT gets here!" We manage to keep the front and side of the house nice, but the back, behind the fence, is a wreck...limbs all over, grass needs mowed, weeds in the garden. Just too hot to mess with it!
I found a nice pair of black alligator leather. "Oooooooh, purty", thought I. I looked at the tag. And - I KID YOU NOT - they were $5,700. !!!!! But they were on sale for $3,700. !!!!!
So I hd to try them on. Heh.
I need to mow too. Guess I'd better start looking for a lawn service or someone to do the core aerating this fall.
Oh my!!! I bet they were gorgeous, though...
An investment, I guess.
