According to Fox News, Patsy Ramsey, mother of Jonbenet Ramsey has passed away from ovarian cancer.
GMTA...
It wasn't the "FIRST" thing they did. They called the police. And if you were paying the best lawyers in town and they told you to hire a PR firm, you'd hire a PR firm, just because you had no experience in this and you'd trust your lawyer. Just because we don't like the way people act, doesn't mean they're guilty. Go rent A CRY IN THE DARK, one of the best movies about this kind of things ever made.
Very sad. God rest their souls, her and her daughters.
Staging Work-Up
Once a diagnosis of the ovarian cancer is established, a thorough examination of the patient should be performed to disclose the extent of the cancer spread. A chest X-Ray along with CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis should be performed to determine the extent of cancer's spread. The purpose of these tests is to study the areas where cancer has a tendency to spread to. Detailed staging of ovarian cancer is accomplished by the laboratory examination of the tissues removed during surgery.
*
Stage 1, when cancer is limited to one ovary
*
Stage 2, when cancer involves both ovaries or extends to the pelvis
*
Stage 3, when cancer spreads to the abdominal cavity or lymph glands
*
Stage 4, when it spreads to other organs, e.g., lungs, brain, liver, etc.
OOOPS, I see now they've changed it to just "Cancer"--someone must have pointed it out!
If I remember correctly, she had cancer years ago, before JonBenets death, and it was brain cancer having spread from breast cancer.
I'm sure you're right about the cancer spreading, rarely does cancer not spread to other areas/organs.
They read it on FR...
my ignorance, what is GMTA?
The Boulder Police messed up the investigation into this case so badly it may well never be solved.
Either that or if a suspect is finally found and charged, I can easily see a defense attorney having the physical evidence thrown out.
It's one thing for a little girl to get into mommy's lipstick and have fun. That's normal, and even cute,IMO... as is a 6 year old boy using daddy's electric razor.
But you don't put an inch of makeup on a 6 year old girl, give a $200 hairdo and manicure and push her on to a stage to sing "Stand By Your Man".
That,IMO,is breathtakingly abnormal.
I'm outta here for now..sw
I was making no judgements about the pagents, but so many people did.
I used to say the reason so many people seethed with hatred towards Patsy is that they saw her as an obnoxious, rich bitch living life through her daughter. I can remember the comments saying Patsey dressed JonBenet like a little whore.
In reality, she had balls and was not going to roll over and beg America to believe she was innocent.
What you say is on the mark. Lauren Green of Fox news was a Miss America (or Miss USA-forget which) runner up. I bet you are proud of your daughter.
I see - it's not unusual for news reports/stations to give incorrect information right after someones death. I just find it hillarious that it's CBS having it different from the other news reports I'm reading.
She knew. It was the son.. the dilemma of losing one child and the agony of knowing the other one did it, and not being able to resolve it.
I kind of think she knew too and I think it was her son. Sad

Exactly. Well said.

Thank you...some things bear repeating.
If God forbid it was my daughter & I knew I had nothing to do with it, I'd be camped out at the police department every single day until they found the killer. Not lawyering up & hiding out.
Bump..
