According to Fox News, Patsy Ramsey, mother of Jonbenet Ramsey has passed away from ovarian cancer.
Rice bowls are something to be treasured, not exploited in the way that poor little girl was. In JonBenet's brief life, she was never allowed to be a child. Her parents, especially her mother, personally saw to that.
See my post #91.
Soooooo, the two page letter didn't alarm you??? They went out that night either to dinner or a party...she could have gotten the DNA then.
Did you read A Perfect Murder, A Perfect Town...
If she actually didn't commit the crime, I believe she knew who did....dad?..brother?
...It seems so obvious someone in that family killed that little girl.
Having said this, I did not wish her death, and feel very sad for her and her life.
Guess, so. I just never have gotten over how the parents would never say anything about him or her (much). Odds are to me he did it, but we probably won't ever know unless he decides to come clean one day.
Not her son either.
I knew a family once and said the same exact thing.."No one in the family could murder someone"....HOWEVER, the husband DID kill the wife's ex-husband and she helped him dispose of the body in a canal! Nicer people you couldn't meet!!
"I'll be the first to say I never thought she did it. RIP, Ms. Ramsey."
I'll be the first to say it if she Didn't do it, she knows who did!
..and look at the Duke boys.....arrested, fingerprinted, indicted.
That's because there was no evidence of a break-in. We have a broken window, but no way of knowing how it was broken because the Boulder Police Department allowed the crime scene to be hopelessly compromised.
DNA found on JonBenet not consistent with anyone in the family was not even looked into.
Just as there was evidence that pointed in other directions regarding the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. But they were completely drowned out by the overwhelming evidence that pointed solely in the direction of O.J. Simpson.
They do it in the movies and TV eveyday, and nobody says a peep about it.
Saw your post 91, Brytani. Mine was just using your number 1 to address some other posters non-specifically.
I looked at the evidence, too. And I don't know how in the hell you could equate calling your attorney immediately after finding your daughter's dead body, leaving town and then refusing to be questioned unless you were together with the questions submitted in advance with cooperating with the police.
No, the letter did not alarm me, considering handwriting analysis is not even close to an exact science and the writing could not be found to match anyone in the home. Simply saying someones handwriting may or may not be consistent with handwriting on a note says nothing to me. If people could be convicted on a may be maybe not bit of evidence, we are all in trouble.
In fact, during my studies in criminology we studied handwriting analysis and had our handwriting tested for similarities to others in the class. Amazingly, similarities were found in the class among the female students as well as the male students. In fact, when a few students were asked to write a sentence, copying to the best of their ability the writing of the given sample, more than a few were able to duplicate the writing style where our "forged" notes could not be ruled out.
I need much more than an inconclusive handwriting analysis report to even begin to consider guilt.
As for the DNA under her nails, we're talking skin and blood not casual contact with someone instead the DNA came from scratching as in a fight. None of the family had a single mark on them after the murder.
Then of course we have the numerous lie detector tests that both parents took and passed all of them. Evidence of a breakin into the basement of the house that was not dusted for prints, samples of the shoes/boots at the window were not casted and no swabs were taken on the window to see if any DNA was left. All the police CSI's unit did was photograph the window, the foot prints, and prints inside the basements that seemed to come from the window.
According to an independent handwriting expert (it would take me a bit of Googling to dig it up, although it is a few years old), I had heard the author was Patsy Ramsey herself.
Murdered by corrupt police and prosecutors.
Further news in the Duke case? Last I heard the accuser initially said she'd been raped by 5 people and it took hours. Then changed her story.
What else came out today? With Howlin gone because of the passing on her mother, I'm missing out of much of the Duke case.
