No, the letter did not alarm me, considering handwriting analysis is not even close to an exact science and the writing could not be found to match anyone in the home. Simply saying someones handwriting may or may not be consistent with handwriting on a note says nothing to me. If people could be convicted on a may be maybe not bit of evidence, we are all in trouble.

Amazingly, similarities were found in the class among the female students as well as the male students. Evidence of a breakin into the basement of the house that was not dusted for prints, samples of the shoes/boots at the window were not casted and no swabs were taken on the window to see if any DNA was left. All the police CSI's unit did was photograph the window, the foot prints, and prints inside the basements that seemed to come from the window.
