Homeland security officials said the grants were a result of a more sophisticated evaluation process

For tonight's activities... there will be a two drink minimum. For the teetotalers out there, yes, water with a double twist of lime will suffice.

For the rest of us... to catch up with me you must imbibe until the word "Rhinotillexomania" becomes impossible to say out loud...

For me, this was two Capt. Morgan and diet Dr. Peppers, one Jim Beam and diet Dr. Pepper, and a margarita.

You always seem to have a good time when you visit.

Now, if we can work out a way that the rest of us can get thin again like TC, we could start charging admission!

Initially, I had some minor difficulty getting a definition for Rhinotillexomania. I had thought of making up my own.

Then I found the correct definition.

So I'll simply offer my incorrect definition as a possible substitute:

Rhinotillexomania -- that condition of extreme inebriety in which it seems a good idea to attempt to plow a field using a rhino's horn, and the rhino.

One is advised not to do this. In addition to the difficulty of getting the cooperation of a fully grown rhinoceros, it is almost impossible to keep the lines straight.

You can pick your friends...
You can pick you nose...
But you can't pick your friends nose...

Don't ask how I know that one. I had strange friends growing up. A couple of which seemed to be vying for the weirdest personality quirks ever...

Close enough, come on in.

But I take it the basketball player in the tutu is not really with you?

A Father’s Question

I used to ask my daughters,
And you may want to know,
When you were up in Heaven,
Before you came below,

Did you think about hair color,
And choose the one for you?
Did you decide about your feet,
So they’d fit your favorite shoe?

Did you choose your own eye-color?
(You made a perfect choice!)
And did anyone help you with,
Your sweet angelic voice?

Did you consider how you’d look,
When you would try to smile?
And just where did you come upon,
That heavenly profile?

And while you were considering,
Your choices about those,
As you were waiting up above,
Did you really pick your nose?
