WASHINGTON, May 31 After vowing to steer a greater share of antiterrorism money to the highest-risk communities, Department of Homeland Security officials on Wednesday announced 2006 grants that slashed money for New York and Washington 40 percent, while other cities including Omaha and Louisville, Ky., got a surge of new dollars.
Homeland security officials said the grants were a result of a more sophisticated evaluation process

This one responded, but the dog was freaked out in a hairy Gwen Stefani kind of way.

"... he'd make a lot of money." You'd have to worry that some Chihuahua would come along and do the same work for less.

How many little female dogs can read the personals? More than you care to know and many have already been divorced several times already.

Dang... He'd be busy, but he'd make a lot of money. He is really thinking about it. I think he is going to refer to himself now as the possessor of the weapon of mass destruction for commercial purposes.

That picture is really... unusual. I think I'm going to have nightmares now.

Gah! Now I'm going to have *really* bad nightmares.
And speaking of nightmares, I planned on going to bed a half hour ago. Look what happens when I start posting to you two! I just don't get much sleep. :-)
Good night!

Rental, schmetal! It's FUN! Go treat yourself and see it while it's still on the BIG screen.
[INSIDE FACTOID: The image quality is BETTER on the DVD than on the film you see in the theater. SOURCE: PIXAR]
BUT...don't let that stop ya from going.

Ya caught me just after I left my office. S I had shifted my working hours so I was in from about 11am to 10pm. I just poked my nose into my home computer to see how my Folding is going -- pays to keep tabs on things -- and saw your post.
I just got a new project dropp into my Inbox this week; deadlines too soon to be reasonable, as usual, but we're expected to do wonders, which we will.
Sorta reminds me of this:
We, the unwilling, led by the unqualified, have been doing the unbelievable for so long with so little that we now attempt the impossible with nothing.
Finally cooled off a little bit up here, today. It was building into a humid overcast at my house around 10am this morning and I came out of my office to find rain spots on my windshield. Folks up toward the Sierra likely had quite a light show.
I must go play dead, now.
If you get back here before I do in the morning, you can amuse yourself over here while you wait.

Unless you are seeing it on a digital projection/DLP screen. We've got a couple of those here in Austin.
It's a highly recommended experience. If you don't have a digital/DLP theater in your town, jump on this as a franchise opportunity. Seriously. People are blown away by the picture quality. Add in a decent sound rig and a concession stand...

ROTF! Sounds like about half my clients. They expect me to raise millions of dollars for them, but once I go through
the P & L's, balance sheets, and tax returns, all I am left with is a sea of red ink!
