Hi, Irish!
G'day, Ma'am. Since I hain't had opportunity yet, "Welcome back" from New Yawk.
Doing fine!!
Thanks! I enjoyed my visit, but I didn't get to see Chinatown or Little Italy, both places were on my "list." Just not enough time, is all.
Maybe I'll get to go back some day...maybe. ;o]
Aw, heck. If ya wanna see Chinatown, San Francisco's got it, plus, you can drop over to North Beach and get your fill of Italian while you're at it. That, coupled with the fresh clam chowder down by the piers, the great seafood -- you know, for all of it's problems, San Fran has got a reputation for GREAT restaurants -- you can have that great time without having to fly cross-country. See the Golden Gate, Coit tower, Alcatraz, Pier 39, Golden Gate Park, the Legion of Honor Museum, the Exploratorium... Go to Tarrantino's on the wharf and sit at a window seat facing west as the sun sinks into the Pacific and, as Carl Sandberg put it, "the fog creeps in on little cat feet." Seafood, sunset, and a nice sauvignon blanc -- mmmwah! Magnificent!!
For all of the FUBAR politics in that town, San Francisco really IS a beautiful city.
Hi! Just back from the doctor. Vlad weighs 19 lbs. 2 oz!
it IS an art form. it is a product of skillsets developed through a combination of native wit and extensive experience. "art" means "skill" - has done fro 2500 years :)
I spent three years in the Bay Area, so I've seen all that. And I loathe and detest seafood, so you can have my share...;o]
When my brother was looking for a potential place to settle, he and his wife came to SF and we did all the tours. And some that weren't even on the list.
I see you're feeding him whipped cream again...at 19 pounds he should be walking soon, right? LOL!
Congratulations to Vlad for an historic milestone!
I'm heading out for an Anniversary Dinner. Someone remind me not to start an argument with my wife.
Good afternoon.
That's odd - I usually have to say "good evening." :-)
Today is another stay-at-home-and-work day here. It's not too hot out. I just have the windows open and the fan going. Still no need for the AC.
Happy Anniversary to you and NicknamedSue!
Hi, in-the-daytime!
Hi 'Face! How are you doing?
Happy anniversary - enjoy yourselves!
Hey y'all!
Hi Brian. How are you doing?
Hi TC! I'm glad Vlad is doing well.
Great, tulip ;) Any day off is a great day :D
