"... maybe they think my jokes are stupid ..." What? Nonsense!
There is no joke too old or stupid to be told on the Undead Thread.
Here's one I recall from the Trojan War ...
*Whispering* "No, no. You first. I'm supposed to be the last one in. I was told it would be a position of honor!"
... "What were you guys talking about?"
"Oh! That was the Sergeant. He has to be the horse's rear."

The human race had advanced in the sciences and general sophistication. The idea of God seemed quaint to some.
A couple of gifted scientists approached God and said, "We are now sufficiently advanced that we don't need you any more."
"Oh?", said God, somewhat amused.
"That's right. We can now duplicate your creation of man!", smirked the taller of the two scientists.
"Yep, that's right!", interjected the other smugly. "Do you want to see?"
"Oh, of course!", replied God.
The shorter of the two scientist bent down, scooping up a large handful of dirt.
"Whoa there!", said God, "What are you doing?"
"Why I'm getting some clay, with which to make a man!", replied Shorty.
God replied, "That's my clay! You've got to create your own."

With comprehension dawning, I realize that you are following a "Great Circle Route!"
(Which is, of course, non-linear.)

I was in bed a little before 10PM. Asleep by 10:30. Up at 5:15 AM. Now I'm at work...
Feeling a bit better though. I hate catching a flu bug in the middle of the summer... Seems to last forever.

I used to go to work very early in Texas summers, and try to put in overtime so I didn't have to go home while it was still hot.

AZ summers are great! Head for Lake Havasu City, and take in the London Bridge and the English Village. And don't forget to go through the maze! ;o]
Or head south to Madera Canyon (Tucson) where it can be 15 degrees cooler. Or Mt. Lemmon (Tucson) where it can be 20+ degrees cooler.

I just ran two miles! On my own feet, and everything!
