Less than 100k, what are the rents and taxes? I smell investment opportunities in your area.

Yeah, in California $100K will still get you into a home. Of course, you'll have to jack it up and take the wheels off yourself, but...

Thanks for the information. Did you choose pink for the aesthetics, or just have it around the house?

I really appreciate the thought behind your tagline, but that sure evokes a confusing picture.
My Mom liked to say I collected so much dirt behind my ears that she could grow potatoes there, but otherwise, I don't think I've ever had roots in my head.

LOL! It's a quote from the Chinese philosopher Mencius; I saw it in an article on Townhall.com this morning.

Oh, I guess that's okay then. Those Chinese folks do tend to talk funny. I like this one ...
Trouble rather the tiger in his lair
than the sage amongst his books.
For to you, kingdoms and their armies
are mighty and enduring,
But to him, they are but toys of the moment
To be overturned by the flicking of a finger.

Turning Pages
The scholar turns the pages on Napoleon's excesses,
And Hitler didn't do much better with his plans,
His nature does not yield much to these militant expresses,
And well he knows the folly that is Man's.
The best of wisdom says that one should leave this man alone,
For he has distilled wisdom from the ages.
The things that shall be written he has gleaned from what's been sown,
And he has no reluctance turning pages.

It's pretty neat so far! We took a waking tour last night, and it was awesome. Don't know what is planned for today.
It will be fun, I think. But I had no idea the subways were so far underground...*snort* My legs have rebelled!

"... we don't have subways in Ireland!!" If you did, you'd be a part of England. Remember our discussion about how shallow the Irish Sea is?
I'll predict that your subway will arrive in less than a hundred years.

most of the youths moved away a few months ago. I have seen one of them once thereafter. He lives on the other side of town - I know not where - and coordinating his apprenticeship appears impossible at the moment.
I have not yet given up hope, but it seems unlikely that I shall have the opportunity to spread this craft in the coming building cycle.
