Very nicely done, Sir.
Did you ever hear anything further from those boys who were wowed by your handiwork?

Well, I'll have a while to think about it, considering I have to (1) get a job and (2) get a house before I can get a dog. LOL!

Soon there should be quite the housing bubble collapse and you will be able to get a home cheaper.
Get one of those 40 year 1% interest only loans and you are set! LOL

I've heard that around here, more and more people are defaulting on their mortgages, and it's a buyer's market.
To: Darksheare
LOL! Those signs are funny.

The ones making out are the states who have seen property taxes inflate over 35% in income to the states.
Everything is cyclical and we are about to see one heck of a recession and housing crash.
We had a crash in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Now we had homes go up historically with some of the most questionable loans.
So what do you think has to happen in the 00s?
Where doomed!!!!!

I just can't see where people get the money to build all of the $300,000+ homes around here. Of course, I don't know any rich people. LOL!
To: tuliptree76
300k can't buy half any home around here.
It's the financing. People with total family incomes of 55k seem to be able to qualify for 700k loans.
Many are weird loans that IMO will collapse.

I can't imaging having so much debt. I had once watched a program that suggested taking your annual income and multiplying it by 3 (if I remember correctly) to get the maximum amount to spend on a house.
To: tuliptree76
That would mean that the average wage in CA would have to be 250k.

I won't make that kind of money as a professor. So I'll make a note not to get a job there. LOL!
To: tuliptree76
There are only a few places where homes don't cost at least 300k.
Texas has a bad history with real estate collapse and 4% property tax, but the homes go for 150k.

New homes tend to be pricey, but around here, a person can get a decent 3 bedroom home that's a few years old for less than $100K.

I'm going to get some sleep. Good night!

3,500?
Now time for bed...
