You're welcome.
But, Carrie and Bo did get to play guitars at some point during a group song or something during the finale. so, maybe there is a chance.
Thanks for the PING. I just adore him. I pray that he holds true to who he is because the rock 'n roll business can be BRUTAL to a relationship. I know, I had a boyfriend that was in the business. He had these LA models throwing themselves at him all the time. Thankfully, I wasn't too insecure about it.
Though that was the LAST musician I dated! Looking back now, MAN have I changed! Whew!
I'd love to. Unfortunately, most of the time I've been at work when the tour has come into town.
Cool gif -- herewith STOLEN! :)
Did I say I was? No.
I hope we get to see him play the harmonic one last time on AI.
I haven't voted in four years since the first season. I'll vote for Taylor next week for sure.
But as Randy has said about Rueben, you need only connect with ten percent of your average AI audience to attain platinum status, given the ferocity of the pimp quotient they dole out.
Which means you almost have to try to fail to lay an egg with this type of head start.
The implication is clear. Don't waste my time with childish doublespeak.
I have nothing further to discuss with you if your ability to converse honestly is this suspect.
He had a hard go of it. The trip home tanked him and I suspected he was going to look ratty as a result. His blood sugar was out of whack and it showed. That Ford commercial was shot on Sunday which is supposed to be their day off. (Greedy whores at AI have to make every buck that they can). With the short time available it makes sense that some of the performances were not as good as they could be which sort of sucks for the fans at home. Why do we get an inferior product so AI can squeeze more money from a sponsor?
My wife and Monster In Law were in tears for him tonight but I see it a bit differently. I am sorry that he didn't win but I was rather humbled by how he handled his business tonight in being grateful for the chance he was given and in how he left. He sang a good Moody's Mood For Love and the Ray Charles tune he really smoked as well. When it was not about competing but rather just performing for the pleasure of it we saw so much more of him than last night.
Happy to keep you updated. When he comes home next month I'll even get you an autograph if I can get 3 minutes alone with him. You have been a great supporter and advocate for him.
Yeah, just wishful thinking :-/ But someone provided a mp3 link of Taylor performing Jailhouse Rock in Alabama last week and whoa! I knew he could play harmonica, but I didn't realize he is THAT good.
He's just an all around better singer/performer/musician than McPhee. She's not even in the same orbit.

Former 'American Idol' contestants making their mark on Broadway
UPI News Service, 05/16/2006
Castoff contestants from Fox TV's "American Idol" talent competition are becoming golden cast members for Broadway's musicals.
An "Idol" runner-up in 2004, Diana DeGarmo, 19, turned into one of Broadway's top marquee draws when she made her Broadway debut in a supporting role in "Hairspray," The Los Angeles Times said.
"Hairspray" producer Margo Lion said "American Idol" contestants have helped Broadway up its "hip factor" and attract a younger generation of theatergoers.
Disney's "Tarzan" has 2003 "Idol" semifinalist Josh Strickland in the title role while Frenchie Davis, who was kicked off the TV show because she once worked for adult Web site, has found success in "Rent."
Tamyra Gray, who appeared on "Idol's" first season, was in the 2004 musical "Bombay Dreams," the Times noted.
"'American Idol' has absolutely become a big deal here in terms of finding new talent," New York casting director Bernard Telsey said.
Telsey, who is responsible for the Broadway stints of DeGarmo, Strickland and Davis, called "American Idol" a "televised open call."
Other "Idol" contestants making their mark in the entertainment field include 2004 finalist Amy Adams, who is touring in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and 2005 contestant Jennifer Hudson, who landed a role in the big screen production of the Broadway hit, "Dreamgirls."
Thanks for those pics!
Taylor's people are rapid DI users so it's really hard to say what the truth is. Verizon has reported call spikes of up to 120 million on voting nights and I suspect that SBC is the same. Here in Richmond people in the city and close in burbs could not get through, they got dead air, fast busy signals or recordings of disconnected numbers which is indicative of serious network congestion. If 100 people here used DI for two hours they would skew the DI numbers pretty badly.
That being said, compare the DI numbers with the actuals and you can make a case that text voting plays an even larger role than previously thought.

Listen to Simon's comments at the very end of Taylor's audition http://www.soulpatrolshirts.com/media/change_idol.mp3
I remember his wife, or her mother, telling this story at the very beginning of American Idol, when Chris was asked to go to Hollywood. He is such an awesome person and I pray he has the best luck in the world.
It's the most recent screencap available.
So...
This is part of the reason I kind of hope he either goes solo, or with his current band. He aready knows the character of those guys. I'd think it would be awfully hard to be surrounded continuoulsy with a new group of guys with questionable character. I imagine there would be a lot of pressure from them to go steppin out, since they'd be doing it also. Reminds me of the movie Rock Star.
