DURHAM, N.C. - The attorney for one of two Duke lacrosse players charged with raping a stripper demanded on Monday that prosecutors turn over the accuser’s medical, legal and education records for use in attacking her credibility.
Kirk Osborn, who represents player Reade Seligmann, said the material will provide “rich sources of information for impeaching the complaining witnesses.”
Osborn also asked a judge to hold a pretrial hearing to “determine if the complaining witness is even credible enough to provide reliable testimony.”

Nifong also said that he doesn't plan to seek any more indictments in the case on May 1, when the grand jury meets again.

"This request is based on the fact that the complaining witness has a history of criminal activity and behavior, which includes alcohol abuse, drug abuse, and dishonesty, all conduct which indicate mental, emotional and/or physical problems, which affect her credibility as a witness," the defense said in court papers.
I remember something on the other thread that the word is out on the identity of defendant #3.

I have been on threads which got pulled; not many or often; but it's always disappointing when they get pulled.
I understanding the pulling tho, there's this thin line... and once it begins to be crossed.. it gets beyond wild. It gets hateful.
I think there are people who deliberately set "events" and "threads" on fire and for that very purpose and endgoal.

A post yesterday said folks in "Edens" have a good idea. McFadyen's was the only other room searched. Unless, that was a reference to the lacrosse players in Edens.

Probably because of the questions the police were asking during their "visit" to Edens dorm. The police were reported to be asking the other students in the dorm questions regarding whether certain people were or were not at the party.
The police were probably focusing their question on one or two names (the guy the AV is "90% sure of") and that's how the Edens folk got the idea of who it is.
