"She's a victim and she's a human being," the cousin said. "Her occupation couldn't justify that a crime like this was committed."

It shouldn't matter BUT it does, no single mother should be out doing this kind of job. Have some respect for yourself and your children.

She gives one on one lap dances. She stole a car, fled from the police and when cornered she tried to run down the officer.

Yes, she's a student. And a criminal, a slut, and most likely a liar too.

Stripper = liar, whore, skank, druggie etc etc etc.

Tawana Brawley Redux, IMO.

"The victim, a single mom who turned to exotic dancing to support her two kids,..."

Yeah, it's for the children.

... forced the woman, who is black, to stay with different friends almost every night

Considering her occupation as an escort, wasn't she doing that before the alleged incident?

Ah.....the IdiotLiberal buzzword "hurtful".

For me, a world-class soporific, matched only by "inclusiveness", "social justice" and "diversity."

"exotic dancing"...

Funny how the MSM twists things.

How about "Stripping".

Anyone who has watched one of these "dances" knows that it does not involve a lot of skill, just nudity and motions that are naturally provocative.

Last night on OReilly, there was a former prosecutor who had spoke with the local police who said they had witness statements supporting the charge that she was extremely intoxicated before going to the Duke party.

He also said that the police have other conflicting accounts that cast doubts on the credibility of the victim.

He is still in disbelief that charges were filed and said the only logical reason is political.

The stripper initially felt "very discouraged" after DNA evidence last week failed to implicate any of the lacrosse players.

Who needs evidence if it's a woman's word against a mans!
This is not Saudi Arabia or Iran. Women have rights here!
All they have to do is accuse!

Lock those priveliged students up and throw away the key! Let her get back on with her life of stripping, drinking, turning tricks and running down cops.

I thought it most interesting that in Durham, North Carolina yesterday, a young man was released on $50,000 bail after being charged with Capitol Murder! The Dukies were released on $400,000 bail each on a rape charge. Wow, only in Durham can you kill and walk, but if you are accused of rape, you are really screwed! Wonder what bail is on a jay-walking charge? $2,500,000 or more? Folks up there are crazy as loons.

Marxism is alive and well in our society and media.

The privileged bourgeoisie are oppressing the proletariat again- two cultural forces are clashing.

Seen through my Karl goggles all of this makes sense.

Plus, the media will try to amplify anything that causes discord and disunity- in this case turning the issue into a racial issue just in time for Mayday and later, summer. I wonder what the USA would be like if the media tried to unite us as one country and amplified messages of goodwill and understanding?

Innocent until proven guilty? What happened to that concept? The other night, Nancy Grace was in high dudgeon about this case. TV lynching of the Duke lacrosse team, in fact.

O'Reilly, last night, mentioned a few home truths about this case. Risky behavior will -- more often than not, get you in trouble. It's stupid. Don't do it.

I've heard she is a student but is in school covertly to recuit real students as prostitutes. As a former prostitute she has the ability to smooze on campus to find likely recruits.

Also as an experienced professional, she was dispatched to the team house because of her ability to handle such assignments.

One of the most hurtful things for the woman about the media circus surrounding the case, the cousin said, is the tendency to assume the worst about her because she is a stripper.

The irony is so thick you could stab it with a fork.

Any time anyone in the MSM says anything about the defendants, at least one of the following words is mentioned: "privileged," "elite," "white" (because, y'know, that matters), "exclusive." Hear that, kids? We aren't supposed to assume anything bad about this woman based on her profession. But speculate away on the white males. After all, they're white, male, privileged, elite lacrosse players attending an exclusive university. They obviously raped this woman because they thought she was their slave. Just ask Jesse Jackson.

Don't expect the accuser's occupation to come up at trial unless she brings it up. The defense is case-in-chief, and it revolves around the assertion that the defendants simply weren't there when the alleged attack occurred. The defense won't need to cross-examine the alleged victim. The only time that ever really needs to occur in a rape case is if the defense's case revolves around consent, which it doesn't here. The defense will just be a matter of calling witnesses to authenticate documents showing that the defendants were elsewhere. That's actually a very calm case to run.

There are no good guys or gals in this story. It's a classic tale of Western hedonism. At the very best, the accused have shown themselves to be dissipated college boys who thought it was a good idea to have a stripper at their drinking party. At the very best, the accuser has shown herself to be a skank who accepts money in exchange for her human dignity.

Let's see, she travels to men's houses to strip, dance and who knows what else. She takes money for this 'service'. And on top of that she's performing her services for a bunch of drunk and horney college kids. One doesn't have to ASSUME the worst, she's is the worst!
