"All across America, a 'Sea of American Flags'", reports Terry "Con-Man" Moran, on ABC's Nightline.
Nightline | April 10, 2006 | Philip Freneau

Posted on 04/10/2006 8:43:08 PM PDT by PhilipFreneau

The title would be "Enough Said", except the Master Con-Man named Terry Moran gave us a long sob-story about a family that has been living illegally in America for a decade or so.

>>>How much are you expecting your taxes to go up for finding, prosectuting, and jailing 12 million illegals, everyone who employed them, everyone who abetted them, on and on.<<<

Only an absolute idiot would go after the illegal aliens in the beginning. First, go after employers! Confiscate a few businesses, and put a few corrupt employers in prison for 10-100 years, and illegal aliens will no longer be hired in America. Presto! Only legal aliens (and terrorists) will be entering America.

<<< ll you have to do is make it a 10 year prison sentence (on each count) for hiring an illegal alien>>>

Does it include liability and Carreer protection for anybody who might suspect an illegals credentials, but turns out to be WRONG???

Unless you allow RACIAL PROFILING in the law, we will NEVER have a solution........

>>>Neither of these would pass any legislative body, anywhere.<<<

It will pass the House of Representatives if only a few hundred thousand of us contact them (they are already close). It will pass the Senate when a few dozen of those corrupt prima donnas get voted out of office.

It will pass neither House. Peter King was backpedaling like mad, yesterday, insisting that the provision in HR 4437 which would make felons out of priests who hear the confessions of an illegal without asking for "papers" would not do that.

The Catholic Church has scared the hell out of these Congressmen, and rightly so. Penalizing clergymen for doing their job is insanity.

Let a few thousand voters contact his office demanding serious sentences for violating immigration laws, and Peter King will be back on board.

Penalizing clergymen for breaking the law of the land is a good thing, in all cases.

Sorry. Even James Sensenbrenner, the author of the bill, says this provision is "overkill."

What would you do, in your world of making ministers, priests, and social workers felons for helping illegals, if they just ignored this provision?

I'd like to see what you'd do, as a member of Congress who voted for this atrocity, when the American public started screaming when their pastors were in jail for doing their jobs.

Uh huh. And when hundreds of them ignored the law, what would you do then, Herod?

"Let a few thousand voters contact his office..."

That is exactly what we all need to do. I contacted both of my Senators and my Representative this afternoon and told them if they vote for anything that even smells like amnesty, they will not be getting my support ever again!

Let him get a few thousand phone calls demanding strict enforcement, and severe punishment for aiders and abettors, and he will be singing a different tune.

Pastors are never 'doing their jobs' when they help foreigners infiltrate our borders.

Very cute, pinhead. Are you are a Wall-Street-Journal, George W. Bush, John McCain, Ted Kennedy, open-borders, global-community socialist, or what?

Save your idiotic remarks for someone you can trick into believing you are patriotic.

That's not what they're doing.

I'm going to say this one more time, then I'm done: the provision to penalize those who assist illegals with spiritual needs will not be in any final bill passed by either House. It is death to the party that supports it.

Expecting clergymen to act as law enforcement is cowardice from the Congress.

And if congress bails, and lets the increasing number of left-wing "pastors" get their way, illegals will know exactly where to go for help. Get a clue.

This, too, it seems, shall pass. Live reports on KFI Los Angeles tonight indicated far fewer people showed up to protest than were expected, and instead of completing their planned march, the protesters quickly dispersed once the TV trucks were gone.

As it was with the ports deal, a lot of this hysteria of the past few weeks is undoubtedly fueled by good ol' media hype; and when the media goes away, so does the hysteria. Funny how that works.

Last time I looked, it is not the clergy's job to destroy the U.S., which is exactly what they are doing by supporting the illegal immigrants.

But I will tell you, Sink, this provision (and the issue in general) has really brought out the Nativist inside of a lot of Freepers.

I do not know which is worse, the fact that Americans have no representation in Washington or the fact they think we are all stupid

"Anahuac" conquistadors exhibit no such hesitation:

Photo tag line: "One of the more negative parts of the march was when American flags were passed out to make sure the marchers were looked on as part of "America". We should be looked upon as the Indigenous people of this continent returning to their land."

See Mexica Movement for further perversion.
