Sorry. Even James Sensenbrenner, the author of the bill, says this provision is "overkill."

What would you do, in your world of making ministers, priests, and social workers felons for helping illegals, if they just ignored this provision?

I'd like to see what you'd do, as a member of Congress who voted for this atrocity, when the American public started screaming when their pastors were in jail for doing their jobs.

That is exactly what we all need to do. I contacted both of my Senators and my Representative this afternoon and told them if they vote for anything that even smells like amnesty, they will not be getting my support ever again!
