Chair, in you opening picture of a flag, can you check which flag that is? It really looks like the Texas state flag to me. The Mexican flag has no blue in it. What do you think?

Jemian ~~~ Call me stupid. It has taken me until now to figure out what 'PAM' means. I feel like such a dunce.
Carolinamom ~~~ I don't think I've noticed you around for a few days. Hope you're ok!
Iowa Granny ~~~ Hectic day for us ... have to do invoices today and a bunch of other stuff and then are leaving town this evening. Please ping me to your post about what the doctor says.
I may have a chance to lurk a little bit so ALL of you better be on your best behavior ... :-)

Good morning. I'm going to weed rose beds this morning. None of that hard pulling the briars and vines out of the trees stuff today.

Go ahead and brag, Mom. You have every right to. We're proud of him too and we're only adopted moms and dads.
The leg is sore but doing ok.

I read the news accounts, but to me, the field next to the pole looks blue. I'm now wondering why that is. Does it look blue to anyone else or do I need to see an opthamologist?

It is my opinion that we are already in WWIV ( WWIII being the Cold War ) and there are two, somewhat interlocking elements to it:
Islam, a Religion of Peace®? ( links, blogs, quips, quotes, aggravating pictures ) is located here- click the Pic, and scroll backwards:

"Thunder on the Border," click the picture:

( PS- my personal prediction? That picture will become one of the most widely distributed, and hated, pictures on the internet. The Illegal Invader lobby could not have done more damage to themselves with that "Mexican Flag Superior, America in Distress" shot if they had tried... )

Personally, I think it is the camera angle. Part of the flag is in shadow, and it would be where the green is located on the banner. If you roll shadow over dark green in a photo, against a light contrast (this my Mom, the family artist told me again and again as a child), it comes up very bluish (she would have to crank in a bunch of blue paint into the green to get that stuff to come out right in the shadows).
[Actually, as I got older, I learned it is actually gray that gets mixed into the green, lowering the hue and giving it bluish tint.]
The rest of the colors are there.

We're seeing a complete breakdown in society. Up is down and right is wrong. I'm disgusted.

Backhoe - I'm so happy to see you. We need to send that picture of the American flag in distress to everyone we know.
