We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Last week, this space wrote about illegal immigration, and it's time, based on the events in Los Angeles, for a follow-up.
Yesterday we were treated to images of protests of hundreds of thousands against felonizing illegal immigrations (first question--it isn't a felony now?). The media made it look like these were spontaneous demonstrations, but, with the exception of crowd size, they are not. They are part of an orchestrated effort against immigration reform that is meant to go on for another couple of weeks and is being fometed by, among other parties, organized labor.
Indeed, the only element in the LA protests that was not planned was size; that did capture even organizers by size. But the message delivered to people was a lie: Congress wants to limit immigration is what folks were told. All right, it's partly a lie, which makes it good propaganda, and it did work quite well.
What folks apparently don't understand is the thing Congress wants to curb is ILLEGAL immigration. If you are here legally, or you want to come here legally, that's all cool, we're only focused on those that shouldn't have been here in the first place.
Moreover, this is a group of folks that, by virtue of the way they came here, have already shown a total disrespect for our laws. In fact, the demonstrations in Los Angeles support this contention. The activity continues, despite truency laws, despite laws prohibiting pedestrians on freeways, and so on.
Real simple--are these the type of folks we want to have on a permanent basis?
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Well, that certainly sounds like fun.:)
Can't blame this one on chocolate, though....I've been avoiding it..
Ummmm, I have this chicken coop that needs......
Sarah is seriously thinking about buying a small JD tractor with a scoop/bucket so most of the manual labor will be done by scooping the poop with the bucket.
It's supposed to be 68 degrees today!!!
I haven't left yet.
I am using our core group to determine the time. You are part of the 6 core group.
May would would work - how about the others?
Yes, a beautiful day today AND tomorrow.
I wont complain about cat boxes anymore!

No, not fun. But it gets us closer to the horses and it is a service.
LOL!
I don't do chickens.
Oh.
Take care on you travels. I, too, plan to spend most of the day outside today.
ROTFL
Cat poop stinks much more than horse poop.
You are in my thoughts today, dear one, as you made a tremendous, and correct, decision yesterday. Have you told MIL yet? I don't know if I would. I think I'd wait until time to pack.
(((Lysie)))
High of 64 here today..........woo-hoo!
Are you sensitive to changes in the barometric pressure? sometimes that seems to be the case with me....
Sorry, but it feels good to laugh about such a difficult situation...
Jemian, a few days ago you referred to some problems back in....have you heard anything to calm your worries?
Me Too. I have some VERY sopecial planting to do with some lillies.
