AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1892) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | March 28, 2006 | All of Us

Posted on 03/28/2006 4:42:48 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

An astonishing turn of events in an Alexandria, VA, United States Court courtroom yesterday. Less than a month after committing a prosecutorial faux pas that could have cost the trial, the defendent appears to have rescued the Federal lawyers from the jaws of defeat.

In open court, under cross-examination, prosecutors got Zacarias Moussaoui to tesitify that:

** He and Richard Reid (notorious as the Shoe Bomber and the reason all travelers now take off their shoes before boarding planes) were supposed to have hijacked a fifth airplane on September 11, 2001.

** That he was supposed to fly that plane into the White House that day.

** That he knew the World Trade Center attack was coming.

** That he lied to investigators when detained in August 2001 because he wanted the Trade Center attack to happen.

** That he lied to conceal the fact he was a member of Al Qa'eda.

** That he bought a radio specifically to hear the attacks unfold.

** He was grateful to be a member of Al Qa'eda.

** He was grateful to have been, which fortunately didn't come to pass, the fifth pilot.

For Moussaoui to receive the death penalty (he has already pled guilty), prosecutors must prove that his lies were directly responsible for at least one death on September 11, 2001.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Good luck with the remedy search. Still taking the Mucinex here, too...

This uni-sex thing is really for the birds. I saw a fellow and gal, his hair was longer and prettier than hers, in fact I thought he was a she for a bit. Very confusing.

Gotta go begin the dinner meal. It's going to be just a stew, as I have so many veggies on hand. Till later.

You've left but I have to post this. Speaking of birds. LOL

We put out a new finch feeder yesterday. The food is gone.

The little birds can eat like nobodies business. And their color is turning bright yellow again.

When I was a young policeman I had to work at the bowling alley because of thug problems and long hair for boys was just getting popular. I would stand by the boys bathroom and say 'young lady, that is the boys bathroom, you can't go in there', they would get bent out of shape.

I just heard that Hill-0-ree was to 'sexy' to run for president, sure is, about as sexy and a Cobra.

Has anyone considered the fact why politicians of both parties are in favor of large scale immigration?

It was at least a generation ago that we as a nation decided that zero population growth was a good thing. The problem with that is Social Security and Medicare. If the population does not grow and people live 22 years after retirement, then there will only be 2 people paying Social Security and Medicare taxes for each person drawing.

If the baby boomers are to get 1,500 dollars a month social security and 3,000 dollars worth of medical benefits each, that is 21,000 dollars a year.. In other words each working person would have to pay $10,500 in Social Security and Medicare taxes. With other taxes to support other government services, the take could reach close to 40 percent of income.. perhaps for many workers as much as 50 percent of income.

One solution, the one being used in Europe is to import workers. That would increase the working population and therefor the ratio of the number of those paying social security taxes to to those drawing Social Security. At 4 to 1 the tax take from each worker would drop from 10,500 dollars a year to 5,250.

Europe has tried to solve the problem with imigration.. except their Mexicans are Muslims. They will in the long run have a much larger problem than we will with Mexicans.

The attempt to privatize social security failed. The second option is to import more people to pay the required taxes. The third is to increase retirement age to 75. The forth is to reduce benefts and the fifth is to kill old people.

The worst solution is Euthanasia. The question I have is would a person who has no problem killing her own baby because it is inconvenient have a problem killing you because you cost her too much to let live?

I hope the nose drops work, Molly.

It's horrible wanting to exercise/get up and go, but can't breath to do it.

I think you're right, to a large extent, about immigration and the funding of entitlement programs. On the other side of the coin, however, we find that illegal immigrants are getting entitlements without paying into the system.

Illegals getting entitlements.

The same is true in Europe.

How is your construction coming. I am going to hang some pictures and some of my police certificates when D gets back, they won't trust me with doing it, wonder why. I have already put up two murder pistols and they bring conversations galore. In the old days we would just have to ask the judge when the case was over if we wanted the murder weapons. I have some butcher knives too, some in just stabbings, some are murder weapons. Some hobby huh? Not to me, just a part of my life.

Hope you are feeling less blue now. Sending you hugs!!

Saw my first D-backs spring training game of the season on TV Sunday - there was a pre-game show about the history of the cactus league. Indians used to be here - I think they left about the time I moved here (1992). Anyway, it's possible they will come back down here in a few years and share a facility with the Reds. Mariners and Padres share one and it has worked out well for Peoria. I think it was Chandler or Gilbert that is looking at putting up a new stadium and getting them down here.

The ceilings are done...sheetrock on one half..suspended the other half.

Next is tile flooring on one half and laminate on the other..then trim work.

I never thought it would happen. Sarah made a lot of it happen by buying Home Depot gift cards for Christmas.

Thanks for the alert!

I've had basal cell occasionally....(thought it was because I'm very fair skinned and have lived in Florida for 30 years)...

..but last year I had a squamous cell removed from my wrist...(at the 'watch' line)....

..The basal cell never needed stitches, but this one needed 4 stitches!

Good for your doctor for being vigilant!
