That was a hard song to sing and frankly, I don't think Clarkson is that good a singer to begin with. Tucker was a bit bland and young but having heard her over several shows she proved herself to be far superior to Bar Room Bucky.
My girlfriend and I were discussing just before the show tonight, that Mandisa would be soon to go, not because others who were left were more talented than she, but because she's fat. I disagreed with her. Darn if she wasn't right.
Taylor, absolutely stank last night. For a guy who has so little talent that should have been enough to send him bye-bye. It was one of the worst performances since the first show this year. Even Paula criticzed it.
I would assume so.

That's true enough, but his time is severely limited. I wonder if the judges will be even more critical of him next week to hasten his departure since he probably should have gone this week.

Yikes! I don't think Kenny's beard grows anymore--it's just there on his face, like an eyebrow.
I see Bucky as top 5/6 based on voting pattern this week. He didn't excel at what he was supposed to be good at and he still makes top 6.

Yeah, but Fat Bottomed Girls is kind of a novelty song and it could be dangerous to sing on AI. Mandisa was the only one that could pull it off.
But all joking aside, I really do like a lot of Qeens songs. I can't see many of those left doing very well with them, though. Chris, Taylor, Bucky and any other raw-edged voices will work. The rest better make the songs their own and really change them or they are sunk!
First off, word is that Taylor was ill last night. Secondly, much as I like Mandisa, I still prefer Taylor's style over hers. That doesn't mean that she is bad, just a difference in style preferences. Third Paula was laying on the table 'out of it' again last night. I think the judges swapped jobs last night.
The fact that Taylor is ill might explain the poor song choice and why he didn't do Georgia last night. He may have been concerned that he would ruin a song that he normally nails. jmo
Good choice! Bucky might have a chance with it too.
