I don't know really. If the circuits are jammed you get a fast busy or a recording. If the line is busy then you get the regular buzzing. Would I put it past Idol to limit his lines? No considering that they really seem to like McPhee. But in fairness, she comes from SoCal and has a large base out there. She's also not competing for the same voter base as Elliott.

Well, Paris had to go home. She was the youngest, and the youngest always goes home. She did very well for herself, and Ann Nesby can be proud of her girl. I'm sure we'll be seeing lots more of Paris in the future, and she won't be tied down by a dead-end AI contract.

Elliott was kind and concerned again when they were standing there in the bottom two. He seemed genuinely sad to see Paris get voted off. Taylor looked sad, too; Chris looked noncomittal; and Miss Piggy looked evil.

Text messaging will save Katharine from the bottom two, let alone elimination. Paris and Elliott will be in the bottom two, and it'll be a coin-flip between those two. Elliott leads Paris outside the margin of error w/the phone calls, but Paris will pick up a lot of ground w/text messages, which DialIdol isn't able to cover.

Of course no one knows for sure, but if you look at recent weeks... it's very suggestive that Katharine (of the remaining 5) gets more help from text messaging than any other contestant. Look at last week, when DialIdol had her at #4 but it was announced that she and Chris were #1-2 in votes.

If you look further back, you'll find that Elliott, who looked relatively safe in the Week With 8 Idols on the Predictions page, ended up in the bottom 3.
