McPhee does well on the left coast so her numbers should improve. Still has the makings right now of a female bottom 2 as she was soooooo bad on her first song and Paris has maxed out on her fan base.

AARGH! That wacky west coast vote! They're all voting for Miss Piggy (McPhee).

I think Paris is done tomorrow. Kat should go next week. I may not care for Elliot's songs but he is at least consistent and Kat isn't. She has a couple of good night but a lot of klunkers. jmo

Did Simon call Taylor bawdy?

Cool! I'm only nine years older than Chris I figure I am 9 years older than Chris' dad.

Well, watching the gap grow between Miss Piggy and the guys and narrow between Miss Piggy and Princess P I've started voting for Paris...mostly getting busy signals. I can't stand Paris' speaking voice but her singing and sweetness sure beats the Muppet's.

Chris' problem is that he isn't listening to Bocelli and singing from the diaphragm. Can you imagine the scream fest concert he'd give?

He said "Balmy"...Britspeak for nutty.

I don't really like his songs either. But, he is far more consistent, he's improved greatly over the past 10 weeks, he's cleaned up pretty well and his songs (for the most part) are not all that easy to sing. My one knock on him is that he tries to do too much with what he's singing. On Broadway was a nice up tempo for him but he has to pick his game up. The second song is actually the style where he fits best. He won't excite people like Taylor but that's not his strong point anyway.
Kat cannot seem to figure out who she is and that is really hurting her. Plus, people can also see that she is rather limited.
Taylor was a lot of fun tonight in PTFM. That song likely reenrgized his fan base.

You can't sing like that for very long without developing nodes on the vocal cords. Simon was absolutely right when he told Chris (can't remember exact words) to take better care of his voice.

Thank you. One would think I'd know it by now.

"Wish Elliot could've done more of the song [On Broadway]. He was just getting in a groove!"Especially the scat ending. He would've killed if he nailed that.

He won't excite people like Taylor but that's not his strong point anyway. I didn't like the second song at all. The first one was ok. Like Taylor, Elliot just has to do his thing and the fans will go where they go.

Some people see.hear it! lol

If Taylor's cousin reported correctly, then Taylor will be being Taylor for the rest of the time that he is on the show. He effectively told AI to stuff it tonight. I hope he stays true to himself. I think they could give him a crappy song and with the same time the others get, he could turn that crap song into something worth listening to. He just may have to do that for the rest of the show. We don't get to see their list and that crap of letting him rehearse TALT for almost a week then saying it wasn't a love song.... well, he would be well advised to make double sure that a song is ok, before starting to practice it. Make them sign off on it!

Styx isn't my idea of good rock and roll from that era.
But if you insist on singing that tripe, Chris should at least not let the band get ahead of him as he did.
Dennis DeYoung is a broadway act, and Chris gets demerits for even thinking this caberet number is "rock".

Taylor will excel in Elvis week.
