What's really tragic (and strange) about Barking Dog is that the owner died over the weekend from carbon monoxide poisoning, and the dog got left alone outside for a couple days (in the cold rain and wind) cause the family had to get out of the house.
According to police, the dad was using a ****GRILL**** to heat the house. The family is from Mexico, and apparently this is common practice, but I never ever heard of using a BBQ grill to heat your home, until a couple days ago.
Anyway, this poor dog has been left outside, barking all night long for the last couple days. :( The other neighbor has started feeding the dog on his own. Not sure what's going to happen to it.
That is terrible, the poor thing. I hope someone comes and gets it at some point or another.
We have a neighbor who's pretty much abandoned his house, even though he owns it. It's a big yard and a two-story house. But his wife left him a few years ago, and he hasn't been the same since. He doesn't take care of the place. He only comes by every now and then. I'm not sure where he stays. He gets drunk all the time. Sometimes he hires landscaping people to clean his yard. I've seen his pool: it's been abandoned for years and is now more of a swamp.
It's legal to have a fire in your yard here because we live outside the city limits. He actually put on a fire in the burnspot in his yard last night and left it there. Drove off while it was burning.
Using the grill to heat the house? Jeeze thats dangerous but I heard of it happening.
Thats sad about the sog :( I would never leave any of my pets in the cold like that.
