Damn, I fell asleep before the planes landed in Brazil. Is there a re-run on any time?

Yep - the sisters gotta go next week.
Then Lake has to go. He was also irritating last night.

Traveling to Sao Paulo to kiss snakes? Heck they could've done that in Arkansas..Is that really necessary?

Yeah FOX is becoming quite the competitive network. 24, AI, I've heard House and Prison Break are really good shows.House is really good. Didn't see it the first season but got addicted during re-runs. If you like characters a bit off like Monk, you'd like House.

Is it just me, or are all of these people unlikeable?I said the same last night. Of them all, the gays were the least annoying. The nerds would be fine if they weren't so kissy face. The "we're so smart" older couple female is sooo going to get on everyone's nerves, "I don't see it! I don't see it!" And the screaming sisters, puleeze, shut up already. Sorry, but the beach guys and their nipple rings need to find their way outta the closet (denial and river, dudes). We all knew the hippies needed to be introduced to a bar of soap and they confirmed it when they admitted they hadn't used deodorant. Anyone else suspect the mama flirts with daughter's boyfriends? I realllly hate to say it, but the Double D's might be the smartest of the bunch.

Good start last night to TAR IX! I enjoyed it very much. My impressions on the contestants so far.
I loved BJ/Tyler (the hippies). Cool guys, I had them as a final four pick, and I think they go a long way.
I hate Lake/Michelle - I had them as a final four pick, but I'm hoping they see an early exit. It's almost as if SeeBS picked the worst possible representative for a "southerner". Lake's a jerk. They remind me of Tara/Will from TAR2, but not as likeable.
Joseph/Monica - (MOJO) I had them as a final four pick, but they didn't impress me much last night.
Fran/Barry - For some reason I thought they would be better than most of the old couples TAR has had on in the past. Nope, they're not. Maybe they're in better physical condition than previous "seniors", but mentally and emotionally they fail to impress. I picked them as a final four, but don't think they'll make to the 1/2 way point.
Eric/Jeremy - (drop-outs) Very nice race for them. They surprised me. Could do well.
Ray/Yolanda - I don't think they'll make it much further.
Wanda/Desiree - (mom/daughter) Very impressive, and I think they'll do well. May move them up to a final four pick.
David/Lori - (geeks/nerds) OMG, I was blown away with this couple. Love their attitude and "can do" spirit. I had them as an early exit, but they may be final four material.
Danielle/Dani - ("can we call you the Double-Ds" LOL!) Funniest moment in the whole show. Nice eye candy, but not long for the race, IMO.
Lisa/Joni - (frosties) I believe they'll be next, unless one of the other weak teams makes a mistake or has a run of bad luck. I hope they aren't around long, anyway. :-)
John/Scott - (gay buddies) I hoped they would be the first to go, and, thank goodness, they were!
New final four predictions: BJ/Tyler, Wanda/Desiree, David/Lori, Eric/Jeramy

Loved the genie! You just knew they had lost at that moment, lol.
What did y'all think of the controlling dentist? Lil' Miss Scarlet should have punched him when he grudgingly admitted ordering the tickets was "partially" his fault. Hey, jerk, it was ALL your fault. Noticed the editors are pushing all his "black" comments.
Speaking of, have to say I like the black couple. She did a fine job of ignoring the rude cat calls and stares, and he held it together without going ballistic (which no one would have blamed him if he had).

New final four predictions: BJ/Tyler, Wanda/Desiree, David/Lori, Eric/JeramyGotta agree, though the Double D's are smarter than what I first thought they'd be so I might put them in and dump the Drop Outs.
Seriously, what is it with the old folks on TAR? They never last. I can understand not being able to beat the youngsters in a foot race, but that's never been the case. They always eliminate themselves out of sheer stupidity. Every season I want to cheer for them, but they also tend to be annoying. This time it was her whining, "I don't see it! I don't see it!" and both running past that box untold times. The rotor was the best route but the motor detour should have been easy. I mean, it's not as if those bikes were much more than old gas lawn mowers.

This outgoing twosome are loud, rambunctious, and each stand over six feet tall. If they win the $1 million prize, both Lisa & Joni admit that they would like to get some plastic surgeryMan, I was hoping for a double elimination round. What's up with their constant screaming?
The two that won round 1 are punks, eg, referring to woman as bitches and ho's. Their mothers must be soooo pround. I hope they lose soon.

I'm hoping that the Double D's, or MOJO, will be competitive, but I'm not sure I saw much last night to make me think they'll be able to go the distance. It was just the first night, so maybe they'll come around over the next few legs.
Seriously, what is it with the old folks on TAR?
No kidding! I really thought this couple would shine. They seems to be fit (which has been a problem with previous "oldies"), they are well travelled (IIRC), and I had them pegged for a top 4 showing.
BUT...they were lucky, lucky, lucky to make it through the first leg. Walking past the route marker, over and over and over. I can understand missing the first time through, maybe. But that was inexcusable! Then the granny whining, reminded me of Gretchen in TAR 7, and that got old fast.
Here's hoping they just had a bad first leg, and will snap out of their funk.

one's a bartender the other is a doorman...both dropped out of school....The remind me of the two attractive brothers last year who had a lot of muscles but too many between their ears to win. One was a bartender, the other a bouncer. They were likable but made stupid mistakes.
