We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good evening!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Israel is hinting at preparations to stop Iran's nuclear ambitions.
President Bush recommends the new anti-communism book Mao. [And so does the Chairman!]
In upcoming elections, Canadian liberals are facing a loss of power after 12 years.
Iran's President foresees the "final war between the Muslims and the West."
And Belafonte's latest outburst compares the Department of Homeland Security to the Nazi Gestapo.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Good morning. You're probably still in bed, but the wishes are for when you see the light of day.
IG, I saw that you posted about the snow melting. Yesterday, it was so warm I wore shorts! And, the yellow daffodils are beginning to bloom. I picked a paperwhite narcissus. I surely hope that spring is really on the way because all the plants seem to things so. Not just the plants but the chipmunks are up and out. They've been asleep for about four weeks only.
Mozie, no, JT and LD DON'T go to the same school. All their lives the kids had planned on attending Auburn. But early in JT's senior year, he applied to AU with an SAT of 1200. He has the residency, he had the grades and he has the legacy. He was well before the early application deadline. BUT, AU put him on a waiting list. And they kept putting him on a wait list until in April, JT got tired of waiting. He applied to three other schools and was immediately accepted in all three of them. He chose which one he liked best and oila! He's a Covenant College.
Then, in late May, AU sent him a notice that of course he was accepted at Auburn and when would he be arriving?
Too little, too late. JT is NOT there.
The only reason we can think that JT was on a wait list is because he's a white male. There doesn't seem to be any other reason for it.
Anything special for your R & R? Or just reading books and puttering?
G'morning Jem. It's way too early for blossoms to be peeking thru here. It's usually late March when the snow drops and crocus appear here. (Northern zone 5)
The critters waking up is a definite sign of an early spring. The critters KNOW.
Good morning, Sir.
Yes, I'll be reading and puttering........Have lots of weeds that need attention outside, too.
I usually see flocks of Robins down here about three weeks before they reach the Midwest. Have not seen them yet.
Puttering is the best way to rejuvenate. Enjoy yourself!
I agree with you about the critters. Plants are often confused, but I don't believe I've ever seen the critters wrong.
Back with some good links...
I think robins winter in this area. I'm recalling them being here in December. But I have been seeing flocks and flocks of red wing blackbirds.
Good morning. We're getting a good soaking rain. I'll check weather.com in just a moment.
Thanks for getting the links. I really appreciate your compilation.
Good morning.

Is anyone else having trouble with the internet? It is running sporadically for me this morning.
Going to take a peek at the road and driveway outside...UGH!
It must be the rain.
No problems in the midwest. It must be a regional thing.
Good morning, and thanks for the links. My daughter's birthday dinner was a success, and I am now done entertaining until some time in March. I need some "puttering" time, too.
Good Morning Sweetie. Above freezing temps predicted for us for the entire week. It will be a sloppy, dirty mess, but it won't be COLD.
