FYI..It's Cyrstal (meth) If, for some hideous reason, I ever have call to refer to her again, I'll use "Paris Jr." anyway.

I'm saving these pics, you knowYep. Even poor Camille is like Celine Dion compared to those two.
And I sure did do the amoeba an injustice. There was absolutely nothing in mom's face to indicate she got what was going on. Simon said he wanted to see the mother, and mom goes out there thinking she's in line for a modeling gig or something. Unbelievable. Now that her sement has been on TeeVee, I wonder if someone in her life will clue her in that she was actually shown as an example of the worst there is in motherhood.

I have a sneaking suspicion the guy's on some sort of anti epilepsy medication.Perhaps you're right. I have no knowledge of such medication, so don't have a clue how they might make someone behave. If that's what the guy's problem is, I'm truly sorry for him.
If, on the other hand, the guy (1) was faking to get noticed and get on TV, or (2) is genuinely nuts and/or on illegal drugs, I have no sympathy for him.
Whatever...he should not be going to Hollywood -- if for no other reason than I live here in So. California and don't want him coming to my neighborhood. ;-)

My dog did come back in, btw. Took half an hour and a couple treats, though.ROFLMAO!!! When I started laughing hysterically at Crazy Dave, I thought of my two beloved German Wirehaired Pointers who are both gone now, but who shared the first three seasons of AI with me.
Whenever I'd start laughing at something happening on AI, they would jump up and start to fret. They'd look at me questioningly, turn their heads this way and that, cock their ears and generally indicate they thought I was losing it.

Surely, we know he won't go beyond the next round, yet giving this poor fella a false sense of hope seems cruel. I'm not sure though, that he will even realize what has happened to him.Even if Crazy Dave was putting on an act, I agree with you completely, conservativebabe. He can't sing whatsoever.

I know I'm not being PC here but does it seem like there's a lot of gay guys in this years group?
My husband hates watching this show (I force him, ha ha)because he thinks it's rigged and calls it American Bi-dol because of how most of the guys who audition are so "femme".

Maybe that explains the success of "Clay Gayken".

Would you like to be added to the Idol ping list? The more the merrier :) It's kinda fun being a party crasher, but I guess you can sign me up for the list.
*sigh--surrendering again to popular culture*

What about the "statue of liberty" guy?
Simon threw him out awfully quick. It's a good thing too....Enough of the broadway acts...

What about the "statue of liberty" guy? Simon threw him out awfully quick. Best TV moment of the night, in my book. Two words/three notes in, and throw him out. The look on the loser's face was priceless.

Good review.
I only got to see the second hour. Had company all weekend and they left at 9 p.m.
I liked the sixteen year old twins who sang to Paula; the young man who sang, "I'm in the Mood for Love"; and the Barrett-Smith sisters. They are the only ones who stood out from the crowd last night (hour 2).
The Frank Sinatra impersonator ( Summer Wind) had extremely poor diction--he garbled all the words, and tried to get by on looks. He'll be one of the first eliminated in H-wood.
The judges were rather subdued. Looks like they're getting jaded.

The Frank Sinatra impersonator ( Summer Wind) had extremely poor diction I thought that was the case, but I thought maybe it was just that I didn't hear him well. He'll need to execute better if he wants to stay around.

Simon looked to be in a very foul mood, and that seemed to be rubbing off on the others.
