Good review.
I only got to see the second hour. Had company all weekend and they left at 9 p.m.
I liked the sixteen year old twins who sang to Paula; the young man who sang, "I'm in the Mood for Love"; and the Barrett-Smith sisters. They are the only ones who stood out from the crowd last night (hour 2).
The Frank Sinatra impersonator ( Summer Wind) had extremely poor diction--he garbled all the words, and tried to get by on looks. He'll be one of the first eliminated in H-wood.
The judges were rather subdued. Looks like they're getting jaded.
I thought that was the case, but I thought maybe it was just that I didn't hear him well. He'll need to execute better if he wants to stay around.

Simon looked to be in a very foul mood, and that seemed to be rubbing off on the others.
I don't know if they were jaded so much as they were impatient. They had no time for the novelty acts like they used to (the Statue of Liberty guy). Crazy Dave was the exception :)
