"My husband is a PITA. Now you know why I'm cranky all the time."

I hear you sister! My hubby don't like nothing, and then even what he likes, he don't like. (Sigh) this is why we must continue to CIVILIZE them. Or at least, continue to try!

"Chris needs to sing the song "Photograph"."

Oh man, I love that song. Ringo rules, my fave beatle!

Paula must be liking them younger and younger. I can't believe anybody would call this kid a sex symbol.

From the look on her face when she said it, I don't think she really meant what she said.

NICKELBACK LYRICS

"Photograph"

Look at this photograph
Everytime I do it makes me laugh
How did our eyes get so red
And what the hell is on Joey's head

And this is where I grew up
I think the present owner fixed it up
I never knew we'd ever went without
The second floor is hard for sneaking out

And this is where I went to school
Most of the time had better things to do
Criminal record says I broke in twice
I must have done it half a dozen times

I wonder if It's too late
Should i go back and try to graduate
Life's better now then it was back then
If I was them I wouldn't let me in

Oh oh oh
Oh god I

Every memory of looking out the back door
I had the photo album spread out on my bedroom floor
It's hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye

Every memory of walking out the front door
I found the photo of the friend that I was looking for
It's hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye

Remember the old arcade
Blew every dollar that we ever made
The cops hated us hangin' out
They say somebody went and burned it down

We used to listen to the radio
And sing along with every song we know
We said someday we'd find out how it feels
To sing to more than just the steering wheel

Kim's the first girl I kissed
I was so nervous that I nearly missed
She's had a couple of kids since then
I haven't seen her since god knows when

Oh oh oh

I miss that town
I miss the faces
You can't erase
You can't replace it
I miss it now
I can't believe it

So hard to stay
Too hard to leave it

If I could I relive those days
I know the one thing that would never change

Every memory of looking out the back door
I had the photo album spread out on my bedroom floor
It's hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye

Every memory of walking out the front door
I found the photo of the friend that I was looking for
It's hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye

Look at this photograph
Everytime I do it makes me laugh
Everytime I do it makes me

The more times you listen to Chris' song tonight (yea, DVR!), the better. The money will move very heavily toward him on the markets for winning the whole thing. The performance, like Simon said, really was in a class by itself. The difference is night and day between Chris and the rest. And there is no Carrie Underwood/Kelly Clarkson/Fantasia in this batch of girls to keep a guy from winning.

Wait a minute!

Is Sway from Hawaii?

If so, we could be in trouble. Remember Jazmine Trios? She was from Hawaii too and she stayed on through the top 5.

That would be torture! At least Jazmine was "eye candy."

Sway is from San Francisco.....the #3 TV market in the U.S. IIRC.

You could be right. Chris was the best of the guys 2 weeks in a row. Only Taylor and Elliot are even close.

As for the girls, McPhee could do well if she picks better song. Kellie is good, but I don't think we'll get a repeat of last year (country girl).
Lisa Tucker is good too. That's about it for the girls. Mandisa has a good voice but a "female Ruben" can't win.

They called Ruben the "velvet teddy bear." Mandisa could be the Plastic Panda.

San Fran? Figures!

OK...I'm still gonna say Sway and Bobby Brady go. Maybe Dr. Teeth but he was better tonight than last week.

G'Ace is a Lt. Dan wanna be. But he doesn't have nearly the chops or the "eye thing" down yet.

The eye thing! :)

I totally disagree. I think she is among the best they have this year.

Just skip to the end....that'll save you a lot of time...Chris was last tonight and by far the best...

He was the best! Oustanding! Second was Elliot, then Taylor, and then Gideon. Gideon surprised me. :) That was well done and I have a new name for him. Preacher man. ")

Watching Idol on the West Coast now. Taylor just finished singing (first) and he was AWESOME. I think the judges are nuts saying . it wasn't one of his best performances! Geez. I was watching and saying "He's a legend in the making!"

Can you tell I am a Taylor Hicks fan?

Thanks for the mention of the other guys' performances. I love Chris Daughtry too so I can't wait! Elliot is good as well. Looks like it's going to be a fun night!
