Here is the day we have all been waiting for. The "New Year's Day" bowl games are on the day after, but there are some great matchups today.
Look at at least 2 upsets....
I hope I get to see it too :)
That is a very tough loss for you...you have nothing to be ashamed of, the team played very well...it is a tough loss.
Its a shame one team had to lose.
Iowa was robbed.
After Cotton Bowl and Outback Bowl:
Pac-10 (5)........3-1
SEC (6)...........3-1
ACC (8)...........4-2
Independents (2)..1-0
Big 12 (8)........4-3
C-USA (6).........3-3
Mountain West (4).2-2
MAC (2)...........1-1
WAC (3)...........1-2
Sun Belt (1)......0-1
Big East (4)......0-2
Big Ten (7).......0-4
you mean the game?
For next year?
Next year should be interesting...
Anthony Morelli gets to be the QB and all those freshmen that got PSU into the Orange Bowl this year will have another year under their belts....
That was totally ridiculous. College football, at least for the bowl games, is going to have to allow a coach to challege rulings and get a replay look. That's 2 games in a week decided by incompetent referees. And none of the copouts about not being the type of play that can be reviewed.
What a freakin' joke.
yeah they were....
I'm not saying they would have scored or anything like that, but we won't know, because the Headlinesman on that side screwed up the call very very badly....
did you hear Spielman?
He went off on that guy.
What happened? I had VT game on...there is too many on at one time!
Yep, how dare someone suggest that he might look at a replay to make sure such a critical call on a play that could decide the game be ruled correctly.
Ugliest FG ever. But it's good. That kicker, Christiansen (?) really needed that one.
That's what happens when the NFL plays on New Year's.
GO BAMA! ROLL TIDE!
Tough loss - I hope Cody is ok
They called a spearing in the first half that wasn't. It lead to a touchdown for Florida. The last straw was the prefect on side kick that was negated because of an off side call.
It will happen. I just got call from cable, new director. Mike Brown found a new job since FEMA. Great.
Too sad that Cody didn't get to play those last downs....
what in the Iowa game?
They called an offsides penalty on the onside kick, except that Iowa wasn't offsides....
