You haven't experienced shock and awe until you've seen the signs in Atlanta pointing out the "Cynthia McKinney Parkway." They are across town from the equally amazing "Billy McKinney Freeway" signs, referring to her father, a longtime politician in the Georgia Legislature.

"I hope you get a "stress allowance" built into your salary!!" I wish. Yes, it is a stressful job. Some times more than others. This past month has been "one" of those times. I've had 3 cases come up for termination within a month and two of them are contested. I just had an exhausting afternoon in a staffing on one of them. People that don't get it are draining. I feel like a chew toy.

I was hearing distant thunder very early this morning before I was up. I don't mind that. It's those God awful heavy thunderstorms that sometimes preceed or accompany tornadoes that make me climb out of my skin. We got a little rain off and on all day. Groundhog definitely didn't see his shadow here today.
