I was hearing distant thunder very early this morning before I was up. I don't mind that. It's those God awful heavy thunderstorms that sometimes preceed or accompany tornadoes that make me climb out of my skin. We got a little rain off and on all day. Groundhog definitely didn't see his shadow here today.
Down this way we watch for the appearance of Pierre C. Shadeaux, a nutria, in New Iberia as our weather prognosticator. LOL Yesterday, thanks to those early morning storms, M. Pierre did not see his shadow. The locals say that means we'll have an extended spring and a short summer. I sure hope that rat is right. LOL
