We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Iraq is said to be calm during elections, at least that is what is being carried on Drudge at this hour.
Meanwhile, in neighboring Iran, pronouncements by the President of that country have stirred strongly negative reactions in Europe, and certainly in Israel--the target of the commentary about being wiped off the Earth. Germany has recalled her diplomat, while President Bush has called the Islamic republic a "real threat". The Iranian President has also stated the Holocaust is nothing but a myth, and that Israel should be moved as far away as Alaska.
The contract between the MTA and the transit workers in the New York metropolitan area expires Friday, and workers are set to go on strike. New York mayor Bloomberg says such a strike would be "devastating."
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
These horses are truly pampered. They're brought in out of the rain. They've been wearing blankets ever since the temps entered the low 50s or 40s. They're petted and cosseted. They also are 12 of the sweetest animals I've every worked with (not including my dogs, of course). When I enter a pasture, I am usually greeted by about 3 of them trotting up to me and following me back to the gate. They act a lot like the white mares in Ben Hur. I am experiencing horses now like I wanted to when I was a teen.
I know Christmas is going to be hard. I'm sorry. I'm including that aspect in my prayers.
Now, tell me. How can you stand up and play at the same time? I always had trouble with that.
Wow. Katie would love that. She's a "horsie" kind of girl.:)
Dolly-polly, how are you today?
He has the veterans/family members stand up to (tumultous) applause.
Then we all sit down and then we do the song.
Guess I wasn't too clear.:)
Advil? Hot bath? Heating pad?
Yup, 12. That's why we feel the absense of our volunteers.
I haven't been invited to ride any of 'em. But that's okay. I would love to, but I don't know how and these horses are well trained in show and dressage.
I'm just know unwinding to the point of a bath. But I hadn't thought about the advil. Good idea.
....also want to see whether anyone is showing coverage of the Iraq elections.......then to bed.
Good night Toots, hope you get un-achy real soon.:-)
checking in.. Toby needs to go out & I hope I can go back to sleep..
But hello Dawn Patrol.
Not sure what is outside, new snow wise. We have heard all sorts of estimates, when I went to bed early(very) last night.
((Dolly))
I was planning on going but will just have to see how I feel. Not feeling particularly celebratory or festive right now

we have nothing new yet Molly? wonder if it is still "on the way".. from the weather last night it sounded like it would hit us in wee hours.
Toby again stopped, cried & wanted to get in van. He smelled, licked & nudged O to get up. then cuddled next to him.
Prolly wont be back today..hope you all have a good day. I know it is a busy time of year for most of you.
Mine were. I have been up for an hour. We have rain here currently.
you are usually a bit ahead of us weather.. I just checked my cast & ours is coming. My son (and carolinamom/kayak) are in an ice storm so I guess we are lucky.
later
I fell asleep..early..watching tv. Now my eyes are wide open.
I must try to go back to sleep or my day will be long...very long.
I AM going to have a long day. I have been up since 3.
I went to bed at nine last night which is way early for me. I should have known better. If I don't get a nap today, I will be going to bed early tonight, and I will keep getting up at 3, which is too early. WAY too early.
There is nothing to do at 3AM. I can't work around the house or I will wake up hubby. So, I get on the computer and waste time.
