I thought this would be an interesting thread, finding out the first car freepers ever had.
If you have a picture of it post it as well!

'82 Jeep CJ-7. I didn't have it long - too impractical for city living. My next and first "real" car was a Honda CRX.

1962 Corvair - 2 speed automatic on the dash! Unsafe at ANY speed! Kept a sandbag in the trunk because the front end would lift up at speeds over 50 mph.

71 Maverick with body panels from 3 different cars of different colors......
Never had an exhaust system the entire time I owned it, and starting it on a cold morning was like fogging for insects...
Used nearly as much oil as it did gas, and the radio was wired through the light in the floor shifter, requiring the lights to be on for the radio to work...
A far cry from the Suburban and Volvo in my driveway today...

1977 Buick Century Special. Had to buy my own car to learn to drive, as it made my parents too nervous to have me drive their car!

'68 Camaro, 327, 2-speed, Powerglide transmission. I boughht it in '77 and I thought it was an 'old' car.
Wish I'd never sold it.

'50 Chevy coupe.... Straight 6 straight dive
I wore it out between Kingsport and Raleigh and sold it to my brother in law who had some work done and drove it a few more years.
It cost $125
