AMERICA - The Right Way (Day 1782) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | December 7, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 12/07/2005 6:11:39 PM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor teh brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

WINTER STORM WATCH FOR THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION, VIRGINIA BLUE RIDGE AND APPALACHIAN MAIN SPINE, ALL OF WEST VIRGINIA, PENNSYLVANIA AND NEW JERSEY, THE SOUTHERN TEIR OF NEW YORK INCLUDING WESTCHESTER, PUTNUM, ORANGE, AND ROCKLAND COUNTIES AS WELL AS NEW YORK CITY AND LONG ISLAND, ALL OF CONNECTICUT AND THE EASTERN HALF OF OHIO

Storm Track [NEW FEATURE]:

Discussion:

A weak mid-level LP system over the Ohio valley will move NEward over the next 24 hours and light off lake effect snows. This same system will cause cyclogenesis of a low=level LP system off of C. Hatteras--the breeding ground for nor'easters.

This system is expected to undergo explosive deepening and likely bomb out as it proceeds northeastward toward the open waters off New England.

That said, it is likely to be a fast mover, which will keep down snowfall. Unfortunately, dendrectic effects (moist air hitting blasts of cold causing precipitive fallout) are likely to be significant, and the rapidly decreaing pressure gradient will also contribute by forcing banding. The latter effect makes snowfall estimates difficult, but there is a 0.7" column of precipitable water available to the system. Some compensation needs to be given for the warm ground, so a meltdown ratio of 8:1 will be used. Total expected drop in northern Virginia near the Capital is 6 inches--check the bathrooms, you need three rolls.

In the news...

Well, as he threatened, Saddam didn't show up for his trial today. The trial went on anyway, at least for awhile. The judge has ordered a continuence until after Parliamentary elections in a week.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I know I'm going to pay for snow-blowing. It took me almost 3 hours.

I can't figure out why I get so sore when the machine is self-propelled?

Hi 2/3rds...listening to Prager...he 's been launching on Murtha and the other moral idiots in that party...then he gets a caller who asks, "Why do you demonize these people?"...meaning the terrorists...Unbeliebvable...you would have appreciated Prager's comments!

I will give you something to think about. As history goes, the civil war wasn't all that long ago, the press throughout the USA wrote on this war for years, slowly but swiftly in time, the press articles ceased.

Then came WW1, the press wrote about it for a few years and it has entirely disappeared by the press.
Next, WW2, hasn't been all that long ago that articles filled the papers, today as we notice, very little coverage.

Korea and Vietnam, same old story, we read nothing, not at all.

What I am saying is that history has a way of making things current and in the future, old news. All this press we read today on Iraq will soon be stuck back on the back pages and shortly, it will be gone.

BUT....Each of the wars were important, a little thing called freedom was spread to perhaps billions, the same is with Iraq, course the dims don't see it this way. One thing for sure, I do.

I took a nice hot shower.

I'll be okay by the next time I have to do it again. LOL

Tense up, eh?

I think I tend to lift on the bars so the blower get close to the ground, too.

Hi Molly! I wish I would have heard Prager. He really knows how to hammer the idiots with complete exosure of thier stupidity. Some days I can get Rush live out of Cheyenne instead of having to listen to the stupid 2-hour delay, so today, I have been listening to Rush as much as I can.

Just turned on the television and heard Sheila Jackson Lee say that we won the war and now it's time to bring the troops home.

Hello? Isn't it the left that demonized the president for landing on the ship and saying that the war was won???

Oh, Mike Farrell coming up next. Click. Off to read a book.

Between those two despicable names, which I won't repeat here, I'm about to wretch! The first name, and many people do not know this, toured one of the NASA Centers after the first rover landed on Mars, and asked, "Are they going to drive that little thingie over to where the astronauts landed?" True story. Typical liberal abject IGNORANCE.

Yo, SJL went to a gun show in Texas a few years back with some 'ASSociates' trying, unsuccessfully, I might add, to buy suppressors [silencers]. I help an old friend at the local gun shows, and we get people about every show weekend asking for stuff like 'M2 carbine parts' and such. RED FLAG, no, you can't buy that kind of stuff here! You can legally buy just about anything but ya gotta jump through all the hoops and pay the $200 transfer tax to buy a full-auto firearm [or whatever]. And to rub salt into the wound, ya gotta feed the thing! Though something full-auto chambered in .22LR might just be a fun thing...especially if it's full of tracer ammo at night! Whee!

Yo, I recall that some time back, people were advised to put little bells on their jackets to alert and frighten away the bears, they'd hear the noise and run away, and if they didn't, they were advised to carry pepper spray to discourage attacks. And that's why so much bear scat smells like pepper spray and has little bells in it... Here's my bear medicine! For those up-close-and-personal encounters!

Species, those guide guns are nice. Short and sweet! Would that hotel have a website?

JRF, sorry you sold your AR-50, and it had a $2400 scope? Wow! I remember that AR-7 from a long time ago, when disassembeled they would float if they ended up in the drink! What were those utilitarian survival rifles the AF issued, .22 over .410? Brain lock.
