We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
John sKerry on Disgrace the Nation answering a comment from Bob Schieffer ["Democrat Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, he takes a very different view, Senator Kerry. He says basically that we should stay the course, because he says real progress is being made. He says, 'This is a war between 27 million Iraqis who want freedom and 10,000 terrorists.' He says we're in a watershed transformation. What about that"]:
I don't agree with that. But I think what we need to do is recognize what we all agree on, which is, you've got to begin to set benchmarks for accomplishment; you've got to begin to transfer authority to the Iraqis, and there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the -- of -- of -- of -- historical customs, religious customs, whether you like it or not. Iraqis should be doing that.
Sadda, announced today that he will attend "an unjust court."
In Berlin, Secretary Rice stressed the United States does not condone torture.
And an Iranian military plane has crashed, killing 128.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Good morning Toby!
Good morning. Great post, Toby.
I'll be fine. A little stuffiness and achy, but nothing I can't fight off.
How you YOU all? :-)
Good morning, you are suppose to get some colder weather there? To me, it feels like below ) here, I know its not but just FEELS that way.
Went to WalMart yesterday, got me a box of GRITS, grits and FRESH yard eggs from breakfast today.
We are so happy!!! A little nervous, but very happy.
Yes, colder weather is on the way. 40s for a high and rain.
It is very dry here. In fact, I have to water today. Was suppose to yesterday and never got around to it.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm, nothing is better than fresh yard eggs!!!!
You are so right, Toby. Like you, I remember that Pearl Harbor attack. This old gal also remembers how the American people were united against the enemy and supportive of our president (even though he was a Democrat).
Hollywood "stars" helped raise morale by entertaining the troops, letting them know that we were all behind them. These same stars sold war bonds to support our country's defense.
(Nowadays, they hold fund raisers for the DNC to defeat our President Bush's efforts to unite the country, and their "cut and run" clamor is not lost on the enemy. Thus they are helping our enemy, not our country. The Code Pink women are even sending the enemy $$$$..600,000 dollars.)
Newspapers back then reported the truth about our military heroes. Radio and newspapers were our way back then of getting the news. Even as a kid, I always stayed for the news shorts at the movies. There was patriotism in the very air we breathed.
The current crop of "journalists" are not doing their job....to inform us of ALL of the news.
Newspapers are losing their readership and laying off "workers"....and they don't seem to have a clue as to the reason.
CNN and MSNBC ratings are DOWN and they don't seem to realize that the American people are dissatisfied w/their coverage of the news as well.
I do not grieve for financial losses of this 5th column in our midst. They have become our enemy as much as the terrorists imo.
Well said, Cmom!!!! ........My feelings exactly.
We are at a whopping 0, that's zero, degrees.
Supposed to warm up to 20 though.
Whoa! Great rant.
Layoffs at the papers means only one thing, fewer readers. They STILL can't get the picture.
I may be going out on a limb here, but I am guessing that it is probably not a good thing to tell the judge, presiding at your trial, to "Go to hell".
Morning!
-5 here this crisp morning.
You know when you get a ping or mail thingy at the top of the page and it is highlited? Mine quit highlighting.
That's his swan song......he knows he won't be aquitted
Did you know we were in the service together?
I was in from 1975-1979.
Good Morning!
Carter's pathetic. And his book is titled, Endangered Values?
That's the funniest damn thing I've heard in a long time.
